Kiss

Say what you want, but I’m starting to get into the band known as Kiss. It surprises me highly, because heavy metal music is definitely not my musical taste, but, I don’t know. After eleven years, they have released their nineteenth studio album, Sonic Boom. I hope that they continue to release more studio albums in the future.

Oh, as a side note, you can hear Gene Simmons in a recent film - he’s the voice behind the title creature in The Wolfman.

I’ve never listened to their music, and I never intend to, but, hey, whatever floats your boat.

As for The Wolfman: Really? Ha-ha. That’s interesting. I never saw the entire film myself, but I’ve seen snippets of it, and it looks pretty cool.

To count the number of relatives in my family who have listened to and enjoyed Kiss would take a while, and this includes myself. It’s almost strange to imagine my one grandma going to one of their concerts back when I was, like, what, three? Of course, after me, the whole Kiss-loving tradition in our family seems to have stopped. And I did kind of “grow out” of them. As in, I stopped listening to them. But get any of my older relatives on here, and they could geek out for a while. Especially my uncle.

In a recent interview, Paul Stanley revealed that Kiss will begin working on their follow-up to Sonic Boom in the next twelve to eighteen months.

I like Kiss okay. I prefer AC/DC, but Kiss is pretty cool.

Did anybody see the recent Dr. Pepper commercial with Kiss? Very well done, and Gene Simmons did a good job. They played “Calling Dr. Love” during it.

Alright! KISS! A very iconic band from back then! I love the song “Rock and Roll All Nite”!

“Beth”!

I loved when the guys on Glee sang this. It is such a beautiful song and the boys did a great homage to it.
