LOL!
Thatâs funny, and props to Lee, The Shining is my favorite horror film too!
I want to see The Shining, just because Lee Unkrich is a huge fan! But Iâm get really scared at horror films!
How have you not seen The Shining Like evryone has seen that
I havenât sen The Shining, but I want to.
Thatâs really funny, Cleanmonk.
Did you make that? Haha, I love it. People are really creative with that figure xD
Itâs because heâs so scary.
Wasnât Jack looking the other way in the movie ;D, but still thatâs very nice and put a smile on my face.
Werenât some parts of the first movie based on The Shining? I just realized they both have the initials TSâŠ
Well e-j-e, you may be in luck. The Shining is a classic example of a chiller. A horror movie mostly relying on atmosphere to create the disorienting mood. I have to admit it can be scary at times, but it has zero scenes in it that go for cheap-jump scares. Iâd reccomend it as the ultimate horror movie for people who get eazily scared, because itâs still scary, but not so scary that you wonât be able to sleep for weeksâŠAsuming you watch it with the lights on, maybe with someone else to keep you company. If you watch this movie by yourself with the lights out it will terrify you, but you should still be fine if you watch it under normal rules. You may even find a few references from Pixar: (Velocistar237, Sidâs carpet design, âHereâs Brucey!â, etc.)
There is one scene howeverâŠthe Room 237 scene. Itâs not really scary per say (even if I think so), but itâs so disgusting you may be tempted to turn the movie off. If you do end up watching it and this scene is cut out, thatâs fine, but if the scene is in thereâŠwell it only lasts for about 30 seconds, and the rest of the movie continues in the usual awesome format. I also reccomend reading the book, which I believe is even better than the movie, no matter how much I love both. Good luck!
-Chuckles (bon-a-fied Shining fan)
Chuckles: You do sound like a bonafide Shining fan! I do need to see it then!
