I’m pretty excited for Cars 2. Like stehako, I think Cars really deserved more appreciation than it got, but this sequel really does have a good chance of “redeeming” it. I feel better about Lasseter sitting shot-gun (I’ll continue the puns for you) for this project, because it shows how much the heads of Pixar care about each project and their awareness to keep their success and name at the front of the pack.
