Just briefly, The Hollywood Reporter has a great article on Pixar’s RenderMan® celebrating its 20th anniversary at SIGGRAPH this year. RenderMan® is a popular rendering tool used throughout Hollywood including the Lord of the Rings, King Kong and the more recent Star Wars films to render animated sequences.

One day I’ll get to use RenderMan, but not any time soon… unless I win the lottery (and the chances of that are pretty low seeing as I don’t buy lottery tickets).
