What we didn&#8217;t know was, however, what form Fred Willard would take. We knew that Jeff Garlin <a href=\"http:\/\/upcomingpixar.blogspot.com\/2007\/09\/jeff-garlin-is-captain.html\">would play the character, <span style=\"font-style: italic; \">The Captain<\/span><\/a>, and would be the only animated speaking character, but where did that leave Willard?<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Willard has confirmed with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/m\/wall_e\/news\/1680529\/\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> that he will be appearing in his full, true, physical, live action form. <\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"\"><p>&quot;I&#8217;m going to be the first live character in a Pixar movie,&quot; said Willard. &quot;I appear on a TV monitor but I&#8217;m more than a voice. Jeff Garlin is a voice but people are saying, &#8216;Oh, you&#8217;re a voice.&#8217; No, I actually appear. People will say, &#8216;Oh, that&#8217;s Fred Willard.&#8217;&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> Willard also reconfirms that he is playing the <span class=\"caps\">CEO<\/span> of the <span style=\"font-style: italic; \">Buy &#8216;n&#8217; Large Corporation. <\/span> He also mentions that he has finished recording his material, however might be called back for another session.
