This year Pixar has some tough competition at the 36th Annual Annie Awards <\/strong>with an unprecedented 17 nominations for Kung Fu Panda, 8 for WALL<\/span>•E, and 5 for Bolt. Note some of the Kung Fu Panda nominations are repeats in the same category. The top prize will be given to one of the following five animated features (each very deserving): Bolt, Kung Fu Panda, $9.99, WALL<\/span>•E or Waltz with Bashir.

Here are the noms for WALL<\/span>•E:
\nBest Animated Feature<\/strong> (Pixar Animation Studios)
\nBest Animated Video Game<\/strong> (THQ<\/span>)
\nAnimated Effects <\/strong>(Enrique Vila)
\nCharacter Animation in a Feature Production<\/strong> (Victor Navone)
\nDirecting in an Animated Feature Production<\/strong> (Andrew Stanton)
\nProduction Design in an Animated Feature Production<\/strong> (Ralph Eggleston)
\nStoryboarding in an Animated Feature Production<\/strong> (Ronnie Del Carmen)
\nVoice Acting in an Animated Feature Production<\/strong> (Ben Burtt)<\/p>\n

Presto also got a nom:
\nBest Animated Short Subject<\/strong> (Pixar Animation Studios)<\/p>\n

That brings the awards total to 9 nominations for Pixar. Remember, just because WALL<\/span>•E didn’t get as many nominations doesn’t mean our favorite little robot won’t come out on top…
