In more "delay" news, The Pixar Blog<\/a> has gotten a tip that the Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray release, planned for this Spring, has been pushed up all the way to the Spring of 2010 (some are reporting<\/a> November ’09)!!<\/p>\n

This shocking news was discovered via a few sites such as HDR<\/span>oom<\/a> as well as an e-mail from Amazon.com.
\nRetailers have been getting rid of promotions<\/a> and pre-orders<\/a> of the release due to orders from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, which is surprising since the news of this particular Blu-ray has been circulating quite a bit. This brings up the question: why? I got no comment from Disney or Pixar, maybe they want to do this very quietly. Could it be a glitch, a new short planned for the release, a new promotion, maybe they wanted the Blu-ay market to grow some more, or did marketing think that Monsters would take business away from Bug’s, we’ll have to wait ‘til next year to find out…<\/p>\n
