Toy Story and Toy Story 2 at Bloomingdale’s:<\/strong> As part of a new campaign, select Bloomingdale’s<\/a> department stores will be hosting movie displays as part of their upcoming Lights, Camera, Fashion<\/a> promotion. Two of the films to be featured are Toy Story<\/a> and its sequel! Behind the scenes pictures from Pixar will initially be active at New York 59th Street, Sherman Oaks, South Coast Plaza in California, and Orlando, Florida locations only. Read more about the other creative initiatives (featuring interactive, historical, and preview opportunities) surrounding this <\/a>project from the official press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mater’s Car Tunes Soundtrack:<\/strong> I don’t really understand how Disney manages to do this but here’s yet another "Cars inspired" soundtrack. It’s called Mater’s Car Tunes<\/a> and features… you guessed it, Mater’s favorite music! The CD, which includes 12 tracks, is up for pre-order and will be available starting August 25th. <\/a>Toy Story 3D Airport Adverts:<\/strong> Many of you know Jeff Pidgeon<\/a> from his work at Pixar and\/or his Twitter. He’s taken some great pictures of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D Double Feature<\/a> banners and advertisements around Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA. I guess it would be really exciting to be on the poster<\/a>… all by yourself, promoting such an influential movie. Well, if you didn’t know, Jeff plays the Little Green Men (AKA<\/span> Aliens) in the franchise — if I saw "myself" in the streets I’d get excited too!
