<\/a>After checking out the entire LEGO<\/span><\/a> Toy Story line-up in person, it’s a little strange to think that it took this long for the building block company to start working with Pixar!<\/p>\n

Both the TS and TS2 sets seem like they would’ve worked perfectly back when each film was released over a decade earlier. Best of all, they hold up properly today! But wait until you see some of the Toy Story 3 packages that are coming soon!<\/p>\n

If you actively follow us on Twitter<\/a>, you know that I’ve been away lately visiting the (absolutely fantastic) Bay Area. Yup, that included a wonderful tour of Pixar Animation Studios! More on that soon — now that I’m back. <\/p>\n

Anyway, on Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting tons of amazing individuals including a representative from LEGO<\/span>. She showed me pieces of the Toy Story mural<\/a> on display at the studio. Each section was made by volunteers at the Boys & Girls Club of America<\/a> in 6 different cities to promote the new Blu-ray releases. Later, they all met with Pixar’s Jason Katz to arrange the masterpiece.<\/p>\n

Seeing the LEGO<\/span> creation in person was a blast! I wonder what Angus MacLane<\/a> thought about it? More pictures of the mural can be found here<\/a>. <\/p>\n
