<\/a>DisneyParks Blog<\/a>, the Mouse’s official attraction news source, had some big announcements today<\/a> regarding Pixar’s upcoming sequel and its presence in the parks.<\/p>\n

Get ready for a new addition to the uber popular Disney’s California Adventure<\/a> and Disney’s Hollywood Studios<\/a> ride, Toy Story Midway Mania<\/a>! Rex and Trixie (yes, the hilarious new TS3 character) will be making their new home in "Dino Darts" this May! The game involves "a primeval world filled with volcanoes and lava balloons" which players shoot at for points.<\/p>\n

To make room for the update, "Bo Peep’s Baaa-loon Pop" will have to go extinct. Although saying goodbye to the attraction may not be easy for some fans, that’s really the beauty of Toy Story Mania! The interactive dark ride was specifically engineered in a way that can be easily modified to keep the games fresh. Honestly, I never get tired of this ride and I don’t see it going away anytime soon because of the endless possibilities it offers.<\/p>\n

But that’s not all DCA<\/span> and DHS<\/span> will be debuting in celebration of Toy Story 3, in fact, there’s ‘lots’ more! Lotso will be making his park debut on May 9th as a meet and greet character at The Magic of Disney Animation<\/a>! You’ll also be able to see him as part of the Block Party Bash and Pixar Play Parade rosters! His costume hasn’t been revealed yet, but it wont be too hard to image<\/a>.<\/p>\n
