His verdict: it’s "an instant classic!" The latest glowing review<\/a> from the magazine’s resident movie critic (and Pixar fan) notes that Toy Story 3 isn’t just visually stunning but also "[ups] the emotional ante."<\/p>\n

Commentary abounds as Corliss writes about the past, present and future of the studio and its flagship series. John Lasseter and Lee Unkrich are even quoted, discussing the film’s impactful content and debunking false presumptions about Pixar sequels. TIME<\/span>’s critic does illustrate sequences from Toy Story 3 in masterful detail which may present challenges for those who haven’t seen the film.<\/p>\n
