<\/a>What goes through the mind of a character designer at Pixar?<\/p>\n

Artist Nate Wragg shared insight into some of the work that he did for Toy Story 3 in a recent blog post<\/a>. His thoughts accompany stunning illustrations (dozens!) of the series’ new additions.<\/p>\n

It’s interesting to see how closely the final character models came to Wragg’s original designs. You’ll find early takes on Mr. Pricklepants, Stretch, Dolly, Buttercup, Chuckles and even some characters that didn’t<\/em> make it into the film. If you don’t already own the "Art of…<\/a>", you’re just getting a taste here.<\/p>\n
