<\/a>As far as Pixar films go, Toy Story 3<\/a> is on top of the world!<\/p>\n

We’re hearing some huge<\/em> international news, but let’s begin with a couple of smaller announcements. This week, Buzz and Woody were able to secure $6 million dollars in North America for a domestic total of:<\/p>\n

$396,387,342<\/strong><\/p>\n

Weekday Domestic:<\/strong> Monday through Thursday were almost identical, ranging from $830K to a little under a million dollars for a total of about $3.5 million.<\/p>\n

Weekend Domestic:<\/strong> In its 8th weekend<\/a>, Toy Story 3 grabbed the #9 spot with $3 million dollars. Saturday and Sunday both surpassed $1 million, leaving Friday behind with $877K. It’s safe to say that TS3 will reach the $400 million dollar mark in the next week.<\/p>\n

International:<\/strong> Toy Story 3 probably won’t become the highest grossing animated film domestically<\/em>, but it’s surely destined to take the top spot around the globe<\/a>.  Pixar’s 11th now stands at a hefty $498 million dollars<\/strong> (foreign) for a worldwide total of $895 million<\/strong>. Now that it’s well past Finding Nemo internationally<\/em><\/a>, Toy Story 3 has officially become Pixar’s highest grossing film!<\/u><\/p>\n

Awards: "<\/strong>OMFG<\/span>!!!! TS3 won the Teen Choice Award for Best Animated Movie 2nite!!! LMAO<\/span>!!!!!!" tweeted Lee Unkrich<\/a> in response to his film’s Teen Choice Awards<\/a> win. Pixar’s 11th dominated the ‘Choice Animated Film’ category.<\/p>\n
