The National Board of Review announced its picks<\/a> for oustanding films of 2010. Toy Story 3<\/em> was tapped for Best Animated Film, Pixar’s 5th consecutive win<\/a> in the category.<\/p>\n

Lee Unkrich’s latest was also listed as part of the Board’s Top 10 films of the Year. However, it did not take the highest honor, which instead went to an equally deserving film, The Social Network<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The National Board of Review<\/a> will officially recognize its picks on January 11, 2010. Check out the Board’s official site for this year’s winners<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Grammy nominations<\/a> were announced, as well, with Toy Story 3<\/em> in the mix. The film’s original score is now in the running for Best Score Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media<\/a>. This is Randy Newman’s millionth (it seems that way) Grammy nomination.<\/p>\n
