BURBANK, Calif. \u2013 June 25, 2015<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Buzz Lightyear will welcome visitors to\u00a0D23 EXPO 2015<\/a>\u00a0as Pixar Animation Studios celebrates the 20-year anniversary of\u00a0Toy Story<\/em>, among a host of exciting presentations, demonstrations and panels that pay homage to Pixar\u2019s past while looking ahead to its roster of exciting new films. The fearless space ranger, who appeared in Pixar\u2019s groundbreaking CG-animated feature-film debut\u00a0Toy Story<\/em>\u00a0in 1995, as well as\u00a0Toy Story 2\u00a0<\/em>(1999) and\u00a0Toy Story 3<\/em>\u00a0(2010), has taken flight in Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0six times as\u00a0a giant character helium balloon, measuring 67.7-feet long, 39.9-feet wide and 34.3-feet tall. This summer, the Disney\u2022Pixar Buzz Lightyear balloon travels to the West Coast for the first time ever, welcoming guests to D23 EXPO 2015 as it soars outside the Anaheim Convention Center on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015<\/span>. \nChief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios John Lasseter takes Disney and Pixar animation to heart\u2014literally. For nearly every film\u2014from\u00a0Finding Nemo<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Wreck-It Ralph<\/em>\u00a0to\u00a0Frozen<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Inside Out<\/em>, Lasseter has commissioned an exclusive movie-themed Hawaiian shirt.
