One of the best things about Pixar is their commitment to innovation. We’ve been highlighting the studio’s short films recently, which have been part of its DNA since it was founded over 30 years ago. That legacy continues with their latest project.<\/p>\n

Yesterday Pixar <\/span>revealed<\/span> their new <\/span>SparkShorts<\/span> program<\/span> <\/span>\u2013 an official title for the experimental shorts department that <\/span>we found out about in 2017<\/a>. It was already an exciting concept \u2013 for years, Pixar shorts have been a way of trying out new things and giving employees a chance to try their hand at directing. Having a whole internal program dedicated to giving <\/span>people at Pixar \u2013 from all sorts of different backgrounds and departments \u2013 the opportunity to <\/span>create <\/span>with little <\/span>to no <\/span>restriction or pressure is <\/span>ingenius<\/span><\/strong>. It\u2019s what Pixar is all about: encouraging and inspiring creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now that the program has been officially revealed and titled, <\/span>SparkShorts<\/span> is filling <\/span>us all with that feeling of awe and pride that Pixar fans are familiar with.
