\nWhen visiting the iTunes Music Store<\/a> (American Site) today I was very excited to notice that you can already pre-order the Cars<\/i><\/a> soundtrack on it.<\/p>\n

The cost for the soundtrack is $USD9.99.<\/p>\n

You can already purchase the Rascal Flatts cover of Life is a Highway<\/a> for $USD0.99. Sounds awesome. <\/p>\n

Included on the soundtrack when you buy it from the iTMS are: Cars Music Video (Pre-order only), and Cars Soundtrack Digital Booklet. The soundtrack will be available from June 06.<\/p>\n

Included with all the Cars<\/i> gear on the iTMS are Character playlists for:

\nLightning McQueen<\/a>
\nMater<\/a>
\nSally<\/a>
\nDoc<\/a>
\nFillmore<\/a>
\nRamone<\/a><\/p>\n

McQueen’s playlist includes the likes of Blink-182, Green Day, System of the Down and Nirvana.
\nSally’s includes: Gwen Stefani, Patsy Cline and Dexy’s Midnight Runners.
\nMater’s includes: The Dixie Chicks, Queen, Tom Petty and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
\nDoc’s includes: Anita O’Day, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Roger Miller.
\nFillmore’s includes: Badfiner, The Beach Boys, Neil Young and The Uniques.
\nAnd Ramone’s includes: War, The Crusaders and Willie Bobo.<\/p>\n

And the last thing on the iTMS is, as I have posted about before, the 15-part Cars Video Podcast<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, all of this is currently only available in US version of the iTMS. Hopefully it will soon be available in the Australian, the UK and other countries versions of the iTMS.<\/p>\n
