So it is Pixary news.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, back in May when reading this <a href=\"http:\/\/animationguildblog.blogspot.com\/2006\/05\/disney-amble.html\">blog post<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/animationguildblog.blogspot.com\">The Animation Guild Blog<\/a>, I read this piece of news which had got me excited&#8230;.<span style=\"font-style:italic;\"><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I got a glimpse of the new logo that Mike Gabriel did for Walt Disney Pictures. It&#8217;s effing great. I think it will blow people away. I&#8217;m told it makes its debut at the front of &#8220;Pirates of the Caribbean 2&#8221; in early July.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> Well, I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 yesterday (<span class=\"caps\">BTW<\/span> it is an excellent film and you should go and see it!), and there was the logo at the start and it was absolutely brilliant. It&#8217;s really the cousin of the old Disney logo. I was rather excited to see! Great job Mike Gabriel!<\/p>\n<p>The logo will really complement Disney\/Pixar Films. Although I am not sure if Pixar will even use it. Because they have their own 3D version of the Disney logo. But maybe they might use this logo.
