I can’t wait! ![]()
I was right! ABC Family’s advertising the Incredibles being shown on Sunday the 16th so maybe I’ll watch some of it if I am home and not working…
Dude, I got to catch that advertising on TV. I can’t wait to see it and the movie too.
Geez, I’ve been making little fangirlish squeals all night. There’s just something about tv airings…
Haunt: I can tell you are super excited just as much as I am.
Yeah I didnt catch it. I didnt have to work, but I was watching other Christmas things at the time. Things I dont have a DVD of to watch at any time.
I actually ended up seeing most of it on Christmas. I left my aunt’s house early and didnt have much to do so I figured I’d watch it for awhile.
I caught most of it on Christmas, too. It was on ABC Family, and during Christmastime, you know that Santa’s going to interrupt, and he did. He was lughing in the lower-left corner of the screen during the line “We have a confirmed hit.”
Santa’s so rude. ![]()
I saw it on Christmas too. In fact, I saw it twice on Christmas. Once was at Midnight, and then the other on ABC Family.
I saw it on Christmas too! But only once.
I watched Ratatouille for Christmas, but I suppose it partly counts…seeing as it is a Brad Bird film. I did remember that The Incredibles was to air on that day, but I think I forgot about it at the last minute. (snigger)
I hope that the rest of you all enjoyed watching it on tv! ![]()

I can’t believe you missed it Mitch! I am so surpsied at you!
HA HA, just kidding. ![]()
I really don’t get it, if you’re a big fan of The Incredibles, why not watch it on DVD 1,000,000 times instead of waiting for it to come on TV.
Anyways, Disney Channel had a preview of the shows, specials and movies of 2007 and one of them happens to be The Incredibles, so for you “watch it when it comes on TV” type fans, there ya go.
Well, I think I have seen it over a million times already.
And watching it on TV is great because TV is one way to spend time with people I love (ex: family).
I know, I saw it on youtube, and I was like "Yes, finally after like 3-4 years after it’s release, it gets to be on Disney Channel. I was like, what were you waiting for?
They tend to do that, it took three years for Finding Nemo and three years for Monsters, inc. So, I predict we’ll be seeing Cars in 2009 and so on.
You could be right about that Martini. But I know that Nemo was released in 2003. A year later, I traveled to Asia for holiday vacation. I saw Nemo on TV, so I thought it would take about a year or so.
I meant on Disney Channel US. I think they showed it “early” on ABC’s Wonderful World of Disney here too as promotion or soemthing. On Disney Channel, I bet they do that because 3 years is what it usually takes for DVD sales to start dropping, and the DVD’s are targeted to the “Disney Channel” age (not including special features).
martini: Oh I see.
But anyways, I had a fun time watching it with my family on Christmas. Iit was wierd, but it felt like one big flashback in time to where I saw it in theatres.
Agreed. But it still makes me sad that it’ll never really be like the first viewing ever again. sigh
martini- That’s strange- Cars was actually on the Disney Channel just a few days ago.
But you’re right; they always take an age to release Pixar films on the Disney Channel, probably to encourage more DVD sales instead.
