Any Skinner fans ?

Is anybody else here a huge fan of Skinner ? He is my second favorite chracter in the movie, with Anton Ego being my third.

I love the little guy’s French accent. French accents rock !! <3

And he’s quite handsome for a little short guy if you ask me. I think " short " can be rather cute.

I already like Skinner, and I haven’t even seen the film yet! There’s something just very appealing about a short, angry French man… :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh totally booyah! I’m a huge fan of Skinner! He’s my all-time fave character in Ratatouille (Ego and Emile are 2nd and 3rd, in that order). Yes, his French accent is amazing. :-D) And he looks good short. I absolutely love drawing that handsome chef. I feel like hugging him sometimes. Le sigh, if only he were real.

When I saw this topic, I instantly thought of Marie going nuts-and whaddya know, she did! :stuck_out_tongue:

Skinner’s not my fav, but he’s quite entertaining. He reminds me of my sister sometimes-despite being the youngest at age 8, she is just as bossy as Skinner! 8D

Same here!

Well, I can’t help loving Skinner the way I do. It’s just who I am.

Skinner’s a great character, but I wouldn’t put him as the best character in Rat. He just never appealed to me. No offense, Skinner lovers. Heheh.

I always did find Skinner to be a rather hilarious little ball of energy, even though his overall firey personality makes me kind of back away from the dude. (Although, I like Colette and she’s pretty hard-edged, so I guess I should talk. :stuck_out_tongue: ) My sister and I find him very entertaining due to the fact that his very “volcanic” nature is what makes him funny. (snigger)

I also like the fact that he’s short, yet authoritative, meaning we have something in common as far as the former trait goes. I wouldn’t mind meeting someone smaller than me for a change. (heheh)

Puh-ha! Yeah, me too…

I like Skinner. He is such a funny awesome character. I am not really a die-hard fan of him, but I love him so much.

Not my favorite, but I agree he was pretty funny. Spoiler in case: [spoil]I kinda wonder if he’s working as a chef again somewhere though.[/spoil]

Well, he’s not really my favorite character in the movie, but he is very funny when he shouts, because he’s so short. And a tall guy like Linguini is afraid of him. Actually, Ian Holm, who provided the voice for Skinner, said that Skinner was not handsome.

Well I’m one of the few girls who think he is handsome… very handsome actually. A couple buddies of mine think he’s creepy-looking, but obviously I think the exact opposite.

I’ve actually heard some people say that he looks like a monkey.

Yeah he kinda does. lol  Btw welcome to Pixar Planet!

He does.

Ha! raises hand Guilty as charged. That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the dude: monkey. My sister and I created an entire backstory on that, actually…

Don’t hurt me, Marie! :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)

Oh dude, I have heard that too. I think it is pretty funny, but he is still a loveable character.

Well, he’s not my favourite character in Ratatouille but every character in that movie has something to like about them. Skinner is very entertaining to watch, as well as funny. I also love his facial expressions (this more of a credit to Pixar, though) like just before [spoil]he opens the letter, like he couldn’t care less, and when he reads the letter. And also the face he gives when he tastes the ratatouille - struggling hard to fight against how good it tastes, but eventually losing.[/spoil]

The fact he is so short, yet domineering is a classic gag in animation and similar to Edna in The Incredibles. So yeah, not my fav character but I still like him. Oh, and I was very surprised when I saw it wasn’t Marie who made this thread. ;-p

Haha. Yeah. PixarPixie also made a second Tony Rydinger thread months ago, much to my surprise. ;-p

Nuh uh…A rat! Skinner is tiny, has a pointy nose and folded ears, and scurries around the kitchen pestering his crew . If anything, Linguini is the monkey, awkwardly flailing his long limbs. Heheh.

Perhaps someday I could draw both anthropomorphic conceptions.

~~=oP

Haha. Actually, all of the characters kind of look like rats in some way… At least, that’s how I see 'em. Maybe it’s just me? :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)

Yeah! Do it!
