Advice to collectors: Scour toy shops first,
before looking online, because the shops will have these things cheaper, if they have them at all.
Take RMS’s
advice.
Most of the time, stores only have Lightning and Mater in stock, but occasionally, you’ll stop by
and there will be one oddball car among the rest.
Don’t give up!
I only have Lizzie and Sarge to
find. They’re probably the rarest cars. They seem to be the most high-priced on
eBay.

Actually, I’d wait until this new batch ships, then look around them. I’ve suspended
my toy hunting until I hear that there’s these new ones available. It saves money and diesel. Keep in mind the
other 16 will still be shipping with these new ones.
Good point. I still need Lizzie and Sarge, but with these new cars
on the way, perhaps those 2 will show up somewhere.
There were lots of good ideas for cars that another
member on that forum mentioned that I hope to see in a future batch, but no one has thought of Bessie
yet!

Just got the last of the initial 16 cars… Wingo was our
hanger.
I live in the Portland Oregon Area and it seems that almost all rtail locations just loaded
up.

Wow, wait, did I see Mack in that
list. I really really want one of him.
Mack comes as a playset, and actually we did get
him too. Tpys R Us was running a deal "Spend $14.99(US) or more on a cars playset and get a character car
for free." Had to take advantage of that. Looks like most people here are in Europe, so I can imagine the
suppliy chains are way different.

I’ve
still got Leakless and Chick Hicks left and then I’ll have all that are out so far. I was hoping that the giant
Toys R Us in New York might have them when I went this past weekend, but nope: they’ve got a bazillion Maters, a
quarter bazillion Dinoco Lightnings, a quarter bazillion Green Ramones, and one red Lightning. 
And!
In addition to my regular Green Ramone, I also have a “misprint” Green Ramone that doesn’t have the
eyes painted on! 
Needless to say, I’m quite proud of my “sleeping Ramone.” Might have some
pictures in the future, hopefully.
Just completed my collection
with a Chick I got from eBay.
Hey, I was desparate, and he only cost me ?7, which is bloody
cheap.

My mom came home this evening and surprised me with 3 of the 4
new Cars cars that are now on sale! 
I have yellow Ramone, Radiator Springs McQueen, and
Fabulous Hudson
Hornet.

I included a close-up photo of Lightning because of the glare in the other one. I think
he was flashing his lucky sticker at me. LOL Then again, I don’t think he had it after his new paint
job.
The new car I don?t have yet is Brand New Mater.
Also, Boost and Purple Ramone, who were once
packaged in pairs, can now be found
individually.
