Cars toy at Wal-Mart this afternoon! It’s Lightning Storm McQueen!

He’s about a foot long. You can unfold his wings to transform him from a race car
into a jet fighter. He has motion-activated sound effects and can shoot
missiles.

The Star Swordsman - From the looks of it, he has 13-15
missiles individually – in a group, there are approxiamately five missiles.
Hi, it took a few google searches but I finally found some people talking about these cars
toys. I bought some of these as gifts because they’re very popular right now, and when I brought them home my
younger brother wanted them. I had no idea he liked Cars so much, so now I’m trying to help him out and find the
rest of the cars characters. My question is that I noticed the Disney store is selling cars toys, but I’m not
sure if they’re Disney store created Cars or if they’re the ones by Mattel. They come in a circular package
with 6 cars inside. Are they the same? If I bought them for my brother would he be upset?
I know
absolutely nothing about this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

To answer your question, those 6 cars are Disney Store exclusives. The cars made by
Mattel are not sold in Disney Stores. They can be found at Target, Wal-Mart, and
Toys R Us.
The Mattel cars are more exciting to collect because there are more characters and the
selections are always random. You never know which cars you’ll run into. It’s addictive I tell ya, like
collecting Pok?mon cards.

So are they noticeably different from the
mattel cars then? Are they bigger or smaller or not made from diecast? Because I bought him (well not really for
him but he took them) some of the mattel ones, but he can’t find certain ones and I think this pack had
them.
I’m a college student and was working part time at a store that sold these cars, and the employees
would open the case and pull the good figures and put the rest out. Once I took them and put them all out and as
I was putting them out another employee took them. That’s when I decided to start buying some for kids because I
figured otherwise they wouldn’t get any.
Then I went to Wal-Mart and on certain days they leave pallets
in the middle of the aisles while they stock stuff up. I was just going for dog food but my brother noticed they
had toys, and the boxes weren’t supposed to be opened but someone cut open the cars box and took the good ones
again.
Isn’t it frustrating for those who just want to buy these for children? You really have to know
what you’re buying and where to get them, and even then the employees take them before the customers can get
them.

last long once they’re put out, and then you’re left with 50 Lightnings and a few Maters.
And to
answer your other question, the Mattel cars are smaller than the ones at the Disney Store, but they don’t
talk.

Edna - Indeed, I did! I got a Lightning McQueen keychain, while
my sister received a Mater keychain. My other, younger sister got a couple of Lightning McQueen-related items –
some dishwear and utensils, to be exact.
I’m thinking of purchasing the little toy of “Red”
sometime soon, if I have the dough…

Wow – you have them all? That’s wicked. I have never heard of any Ferrari car that will be released.
Are you referring to the Ferrari whom made his appearance in Luigi’s shop at the end of the film
(Cars)? 'Cause I’m not sure if a toy of him has been (or will be) released
yet.
