Ooh, I really like the new poster. A nice mix of the world tour and spy elements.
Iām interestedā¦no curious to see the trailerā¦no offence but donāt you guys think youāre putting too much trust in Pixar?
While nothing about Cars 2 has particularly impressed me so far, I think that, considering Pixarās opinions and policies on sequels, it should be a worthwhile continuation. Thereās doubts about every Pixar movie that gets announced, and theyāre consistently silenced. Iām at least confident that Cars 2 will be better than the first one, in my opinion.
Yeah but these are diffrent circumstances,you have a sequel to a movie the people hate(for what reason I donāt know)

Itās just that Materās my favorite Cars character, and itās hard to avoid bringing him up in the Cars discussions.
Well a lot of people originally thought that Toy Story 3 was going to be a shameless cash-in for PIXAR. And a lot of other people, myself included actually, thought that the original WALL-E design was simply a soulless cute character in order for PIXAR to grab a quick cash in.
Boy were we proved wrong.

I second the Wall-E/TS3 thing. While I was let down by TS3, it was still very emotional, and most certainly not a cash-in.
Aw, man. The trailerās coming out tomorrow? (I know, I sound weird for a Pixar fan, but I hate spoilers!) This means I have to ban myself from the Cars section of the forum after I see it. Oh, well. I love the new poster and picture, though!
