Central Brave Discussion

This is exactly what I was hoping for in the trailer!

Excuse me as I run around the room squeeeeeeeeeeee!

So excited now, that’s awesome! Thankyou for sharing Bryko!

I need it online now!

It’s the only way I can forget for a couple of minutes that they’re not releasing Cars 2 next week here!

I know! Got to wait another month! Harry Potter comes out a week before Cars 2 does, it’s so annoying! :frowning:

For me, Deathly Hallows actually comes a month before Cars 2 :frowning:

Oh no :frowning:

Back on topic, I wonder whether the release dates for Brave internationally will be far or fairly close to the US release date?

I have a hunch that this time they will release it on date, at least in my country.

I think they release a Pixar film, then a Dreamworks film on date, every year.

I hope it comes on on date! In the UK, they have about half of the films where it’ll come out a month or 2 after the US, Cars 2 being an example, and then they’ll have the other half coming out anything from 4-7 months later…like UP and Monsters, Inc. :frowning:
One day, I hope that a Pixar film will come out in every country within the same month, but it’s not likely! 8D

That’s the direction studios should take. After all, they loose to piracy when they don’t make worldwide releases.

I’m pretty sure that Brave will be delayed in most of the overseas territories, the moster from Blue Sky “Ice Age 4” is so close to Brave and also is Madgascar 3, 2 well-known franchises around the world…

But this film will be the best one, I’m sure

There are too much competition coming out next summer (2012),

Agree absolutley. Is it really a surprise that people illegaly download and viral movies when they don’t come out for months, I mean seriously? If films came out around the same time, this problem should decrease. At least in English speaking countries, it’s not like they need dubbing tracks if it’s released in the UK, Australia, Ireland etc. I can understand that it may take longer for foreign speaking countries, but come on, it took 8 months for Up to come out in Japan?! It’s depressing :frowning:

Dubbing doesn’t take that much time.

Dubbing studios receive the movie days before its released. And if it were such a long process, then no movie would be released on date, but some are, aren’t they?

And some of the countries that are getting the same dub as mine, are releasing the movie on the correct date, so I’m sure that’s not the reason.

On a side note, they should learn movie fans want to see their movies in the original language :imp:

Actually, thats a good point, subtitles all the way!
I remember watching the dub for Persepolis. Awful.

What angers me is that they release Dreamworks titles in original language, and also Blue Sky’s and even things like Sammy (the French movie about a turtle), but they rarely, if not never, release Pixar movies without dubbing

Sammy was a French film?! It had a big English re-dub and got renamed Turtle Tales or something equally dull. 8D
I think unless the audience is very young and cannot read subtitles and therefore may not comprehend what is going on, subtitles should take precedence over dubs.

I don’t think they should suppress dubbing, but give both options.

If you’re going with little kids, you can choose the dubbing. If not, why they don’t give you the option to see (or rather hear) the original movie? :frowning:

actually, In Japan, Pixar films used to be released in December, the trend changed again with Toy Story 3,Nemo, The Incredibles, Wall-E and Up, all them have been Christmas releases

It’s still a while to wait though
