I dont think there will be any Easter Eggs at all. Is Ratzenberger’s voice confirmed?
Both Ratzemberger and the truck are confirmed. And I’m sure there will be other Easter Eggs too.
This is really close to how I’m feeling.
I thought that the trailer had a little inconsistant mix with the amount of humor, while trying to tell what the plot is. Hopefully, the next trailer will focus more on the story. Anyway, I don’t see why people think this film looks like How to Train Your Dragon. The only simularities I see is the Scottish setting along with some of the Scottish voices.
I don’t think the trailer tried to tell much about the plot. I’m perfectly fine with that. Most trailers give away too much.
I don’t think it was similar to HtTYD at all. HtTYD was set in Norse country, not Scotland.
Thanks!
That’s what I’ve always said.
Haha no problem. I just don’t understand why everybody insists that it’s set in Irelannd/Scotland, because in the beginning, Hiccup proclaims that they are “vikings”.
I think Gerard Butler may have had something to do with that.
Is John the only American with a role?
As far as I can tell. IMDB doesnt have any.
Sorry about that. I meant to put a midevil setting instead of a Scottish one.
Well, it’s a bit ambiguous exactly where they are, because vikings did go to parts of Scotland (and Ireland) on their raids. Some even settled down in those places and eventually assimilated with the locals (thus where the character’s accents may have originated from). Personally, I think Berk is somewhere between Scandinavia and the Celtic regions.
But back on topic: I also think that the Brave trailer is uneven. The first 40 secs. were quite good, keeping the darker feeling of the teaser, but then it goes into a lot of jokes and doesn’t all seem to fit… I guess we shall have to wait and see more.

Did anyone see the bear on the throne room?
Okay, thought so.
Yes, I did. How intriguing.
Yes, I did!
Yes I did.
Actally no, I didn’t. Didn’t wanna be left out.
That’s rich.
May look at it later.
