That’s because it was already confirmed in an interview. Every keeps ignoring it and still speculating where the truck will be, even though it was already confirmed.

I wish I could, but I don’t remember where I saw it. It was an interview with either John Lasseter or Mark Andrews (I forget which), and they were asked where the truck would be. They said it would be a knick-knack on a shelf in the witch’s cottage. That’s where this theory came from, because its not a theory at all.
Oh, okay. I think I’d heard of that one before, just didn’t know it’d been verified. I am wondering though… why did they tell where it’s at? Normally they leave that stuff up to the fans to find.

I looked for the interview, and I never found any place where a pixarian confirmed the shelf theory.

Anyway, notice that the official source only hints it has something to do with the witch’s house. The assumption that it’s a knick knack on a shelf comes from the author of the article, not from the pixarian.
You got that right SOA. I knew about it being in the witch’s cottage but I didn’t know about it being a knick-knack. Now, I’m waiting to tell you guys “I told you so!” with my theory if it’s right.
I was probably mis-remembering, I think that that is the article I read. And I think it pretty much confirms it.
It confirms the witch part, but as I said before, the knick knack stuff is a prediction of the writer.
It may be another thing in the cottage, like a painting, or something.
