I can usually watch those as long as the camera isn’t to shaky and the quality is decent. But it’s usually really shaky and has terrible quality.
I agree actually. Still, I can’t wait to see it.
I wish they would hurry up. I must see it!!!
I’m going to think “outside the box” as to how much Brave makes domestically. I’ll say around 250-300M given that its marketing is agressive and the recent box-office booming as of late. Lack of competition also comes into play as well.
While waiting for the new Brave trailer, you can take a look at this new featurette, which shows some new footage:
I loved the featurette! Getting gradually more and more excited for this movie. I just love the look of the setting.
Looks wonderful, as usual.
I have to say Merida’s Scottish accent will probably distract me quite a bit during the actual film. I like that she doesn’t sound American and all, but man, that accent has never been easy for me to understand and the differences in stressed syllables/tones will affect how I comprehend emotions and such, because I’m so used to hearing things said a certain way even with an accent different than my own.
That said, the accent’s kinda charming at times and I do like that it distinguishes Merida from other animation heroines. And I say this all as someone with Scottish ancestors and a mother with a Scottish last name that is part of my own full name, so I’m not trying to be nasty or criticize Pixar at all. A lot of the time I watch Craig Ferguson and go, “…huh?” so this may just be my own issue. ![]()
Looking just as good as usual. The scenery is incredible.
I enjoyed the featurette. The new bits looked great.
One thing I’ve noticed is that Merida looks different every time I see a new image of her. Her design doesn’t appear to be consistent, but I guess she’s simply too dynamic.
And I don’t have any trouble understanding the accent, even when English isn’t my first language.
Some of the thing’s thay say in there are strange, but I like it that way. I like the tone that’s in some of the words too.
I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the accent so far. I have no trouble understanding it, but something about it seems…off. I don’t know how to put it. I’m sure when I actually watch the movie it’ll be fine with me though. It does differentiate her from other “Disney” Princesses.
I agree with that a bit, but I’m getting used to it.
I feel like the model used in the teaser trailer and the start of the Japanese trailer is different than the one used in the actual film. Maybe there was a last minute change, because she looks the same in all of the recently released material to me.
WHOA!
Is there already a link to the Japanese trailer in this thread? If not, bam, here you go. I know some people have mentioned it, but I didn’t see it until just now. Wow. It’s SO much better than all the American trailers. I’m much more excited for it now, and I feel like I have a better grasp of what the film will be like, too. Now I’m off to watch the trailer five more times in a row.
I may have stumbled across a huge spoiler ![]()
So very true!
I liked the new Brave feature I found today of the triplets. They look pretty funny and another good effort for comic relief in a Disney/Pixar film.
I read on an article for Wreck-It Ralph that apparently a new trailer for Brave will be released with Chimpanzee.
I thought we just a new one before Titanic 3D. Maybe it’s the same one…
I’ve seen it too. Did you see in the final scene they showed the ‘bear’ reaching out for Merida? I loved that. I can’t wait for this film.
