His group is pretty small from what I’ve seen in the trailer, so it’s not like he’ll have that much help. It’s pretty puzzling. Let’s say the world population for their world is the same as ours, that many people, in this case cars, against such a small group is no contest. I know that if this was going on in our world, it’ll be hard to take someone who looks like that seriously.
Desperation or not, I don’t think the world would be able to be run by a small group of cars. At least, I wouldn’t trust the world in such small hands.
I don’t think guns and money by such a small amount of cars could really fight against the rest of the world.
The way we’re making it sound, it’s like Pixar is going to make a World War III happen.
It’s interesting how they explained Sarge for this sequel. They seemed to have put emphasis on the fact that he had military connections all over the world. So even that makes it sound like something serious is about to go down. Also, the whole spy plot. Spies, military, a [spoil]“dictator”[/spoil], uh oh.
You can do that with all movie trailers. It’s just taking something and trying to expand to see what we can make out of it.
You may be happy to hear this: [spoil]Supposedly, they’re trying to kill Mater.[/spoil]
You won’t be too happy to hear this: Because of that, [spoil]they’re going for McQueen too.[/spoil]
Money does indeed talk, and he could have support all over the world, even if we only see a small group of cars, he could have other followers all the same. Though even current and past dictators of certain countries once started out small and were nobodies. They were once just one person.
How… inspiring…
Sort of.
It it wasn’t so twisted.
But yeah that would probably take longer than what this guy wants.
He’d maybe turn out to be excellent in the fuel business while also having various ‘underground’ contacts. Maybe him ruining other fuel companies both domestic and foreign delibrately in various ways. Maybe making them look like natural closures either through scandle or whatever and buying them up at a reduced price or even occasionally ‘taking out’ such people too or threatening them through blackmail or threats depending on which. And maybe when he comes across certain people in his way however of ruining his number one competitor or a potential risk in his plans. And so he ‘gets rid’ of them too.
Or maybe he’s been taking out a lot of companies and is setting is sights on the one he’ll take over himself too. Or something like that.
Unfortunatly for Mater he’s eventually suspected of being one, along with the spies.
I mean, there’s probably more power in some CEO desks (depending on the company) than in some political offices.
“President. [of the USA]. -laughs- Do you know how much power I’d have to give up to be president?”- Lex Luthor
-Coughs- Of course all of this is mainly guess work here, it’s possible what I’m saying won’t really be what happens, but it’s fun to speculate.
Quite possibly, but since the focus is so on Mater, I’m guessing he’ll be the one looked at as the hero. Well, it depends on what he’s going to do really.
Well we already have one character who is dead. [spoil]Considering Lightning and Mater have cars trying to kill them[/spoil], I can see tears coming from eyes.
