well you should at least watch the crabby boat one. its the same clip we’ve seen in the trailer. no spoilers in that clip. sig hensen who voices him, sounds great doing the character. also lloyd sherr, who does fillmore, voices the combat ship.

I loved the soundtrack, but still not as much as the previous Giacchino’s works (maybe after listening more to it). The main theme is so catchy!
Michael Giacchino might just be my personal favorite film compose of all time. Is that bad?
No. He’s very close to being mine.
know John Williams is better, but I always find Giacchino’s stuff stuck in my head.
I have to confess I even enjoyed the pop songs in this soundtrack. Besides, there are less of them than in the Cars soundtrack and two of them are for the countries they visit.

Well the idea basically has to do with how I found the concept for Cars 2 questionable as a sequel with concern that it’s going to end up a weaker entry in Pixar’s string of excellent films, so I’ve been assuming that by figuring out less about the story this time and not expecting much going in that the story may still surprise me and I’ll end up enjoying it. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened with me and Ratatouille (missed seeing it in theaters cause I didn’t “get” the concept, started watching it on video with little prior knowledge, ended up appreciating it for how well-written it was).
