My understanding was that the first clown was hand painted and the rest are mass reproductions. Am I wrong? It doesn’t matter the quality won’t change drastically.
Every single one is hand made/ hand painted…some of the features are stickers, but those are hand placed…nothing is “mass produced” as far as using CNC machines or what have you
Thanks for the clarification, that’s even better! I just hope that with the huge amount of orders they don’t loose those small paint details.
I received mine today and more than happy with the quality of him. I’ll post a picture when I get a chance to do another group shot (which will hopefully be soon

I received my clown Tuesday night and could not be happier. The quality is amazing, the jingle and roll work exactly as they’re supposed to, and it looks just like it does in the movie. The plastic coating on it makes it feel almost ceramic

^One is the Toy Story Collection version without a belt, one is the Toy Story Collection version with the belt, and the one inside the box is my brother’s old Buzz toy from 1995.

Got my clown this afternoon. Shipped by UPS, but delivered by USPS. Clown looks awesome. I was surprised by the weight. He is heavy. Chime is perfect. Pink stripe perfect. Very few hand painted areas, but you can’t tell. He takes up a lot of space! The other toys kinda gave him this weird look like…“Who’s the new guy?”
Hopefully, Slink doesn’t make any more runs of these as it would keep the rarity and value high on this if it was limited.
My goal isnt to keep them rare, but to share. But honestly, there are like 50 troikas in the world after a few runs. 50 with 7 billion people is still rare
)

Prices on troikas should never increase again for board members and havent since october 2011
I am almost out of my original order of clowns, but the company might add a few more, but I don’t know if the second shipment would be a smaller order and there might be a slight price bump like the original troikas until now ($68 shipped to $75 shipped). That I can’t control, I don’t want to lose money on them.
