I got home from work late tonight to find a box waiting for me. It was a set of Troikas! The shipping to here was crazy fast, which is great…I know he JUST sent these out, so the post office was ON IT. I know I should wait until the morning to take pics and share them because they will look amazing in natural day lighting, but I was a little too excited to wait…so here are a few pics of the troikas that Slink sent, next to the ones I had painted for myself a while ago. I told him when I ordered them that I wanted a set and wanted to support the project, but that I would most likely still keep the ones I painted on display. One glance inside of the box and that went out the window. These look even better in person. I am really excited for those of you that ordered them to see them. A couple of tiny minor quibbles: The base color of the dog I feel is just a tad too dark, and while the lacqeur on them certainly makes them appear plastic from afar, you can definitely see the wood of the material come through in a few places…look closely at the forehead of the dog in my first pic and you’ll see what I mean. But since they are wooden eggs it was completely unavoidable. The texture of the wood is still going to show, but it doesn’t distract from them at all IMO. They are still magnificent. Can’t wait to hear what the rest of you think of yours. I love them personally. Couldn’t be happier. Great job, Slink.

Everyone who has paid shipping between Friday morning and this moment, will be getting their troikas shipped to them Monday morning. If you asked for tracking you will get those tomorrow and international people will get customs numbers.
I still have a few people who havent paid shipping, and when I get them out depends on my school and work schedule and when you pay

I didn’t think they could even look that good, but when I opened my box it looked like they’re part of the Toy Story Collection line! They look straight out of the movie! If anyone is second guessing buying a set, just do it, it’s a fantastic gift to yourself!

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support of the project. I’m super excited to have finally gotten a GREAT representation of the character in my collection. I’ve shipped out almost every order (have a straggler or two left), and I think it’s safe to say the project has been an overwhelming success! It seems like pretty much all of you who received troikas, have been very happy with them. That makes me very happy that not only I was able to get a set for myself, but supply them to the community. I hope all of you think it was a good investment!
I would also like to share that I will be graduating in December and have a job lined up as of yesterday afternoon 
. So I will be starting the Roly Poly Clown project by mid to late January 2012. A lot who have purchased Troikas seem to have interest in getting a clown as well. Once again, I will be happy to supply them to everyone. I don’t have a lot to base this on, but my gut is telling me the Roly Clown will be cheaper than the troikas (as the prototype is even cheaper), so hopefully everyone who wants one will be able to afford one.
I hope this whole experience has lessened some of the bitter taste in the past of members being defrauded on the board. I hope everyone will continue to be careful, but also be more trusting, and show good will to help each other out from all over the world, so we can all be happy with our collections.
I also want to say, that I currently have no troikas on hand, but the company still has a handful more in the warehouse that I can order. They will be slightly more expensive, but not as much more overall as I originally predicted (around $73 shipped to USA).
However, I will be out of town from Dec 16 to Dec 23, so the LAST possible day I can ship out troikas before Christmas is Friday morning, Dec 16. So if anyone is trying to get these for Christmas or by Christmas, please keep this in mind. I will gladly keep providing them until the company exhausts its remaining supply. After that, I will be able to order them again, but it will go back to the original price structure, and will DEFINITELY be more expensive unless the order is above 10 again. So if you are debating about it, I would not take my chances.
Once again, thanks to everyone who supported the project, and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and will enjoy a GREAT holiday season!

Someone’s got a set up on ebay now using Wampar’s pictures. It’s going for $96 dollars and currently has 16 bids. Slink, is it yours?

A couple of people asked for a set, then backed out. I impulsively put one on eBay a few nights ago, just to see what would happen…I’m actually kind of shocked its that high after a few days…
$63 doesn’t seem so bad anymore, eh?

Just out of curiousity, I have 13 watchers right now…are any of those troika purchasers who are just curious? or do I have that many people potentially interested?

I recieved my Troikas today. I don’t think I could thank you enough, Slink! The way you put so much effort to make sure these were so meticulously designed and perfect in every way made me so excited to open these! From the bulldog to the ladybug, these could not be better! I would definitley order from you again!!!
