Wow, that was so cool finding those! I cant believe i
never noticed them before…
I still wonder, why there is no reference to Ratatouille besides
this weird Eiffel Tower in Sallys Motel.
Groaning:I have wondered the same thing my self Groaning. Probably because there were no humans or
animals in Cars except for the birds from For the Birds so how could they put any more reference for
Ratatouille?
Groaning and JV - They may also have wanted to keep
Ratatouille a secret back then – even now, the most we know about
Ratatouille is the plot-line and a few characters. Pixar is
very secretive when it comes to feature films and projects…
But they
do hint a couple things. They had the Car of Doc in The Incredibles. And in Finding Nemo, Luigi was easily
located in the end.
It’s probly in there we just don’t know where to look. Note we didn’t know to look for Doc
in The Incredibles or Luigi in Finding Nemo because we didn’t know the characters until after Cars came out.
Also we didn’t know to look for The Incredibles comic book in Finding Nemo even though that one was a bit easier
to spot. I’m sure something is hidden in there somewhere - we just need to find out what we’re looking
for.
I think that Pixar uses a lot of the same things because of the time and expense in creating characters, so why not just use them again and again, with minor modifications. Maybe that’s not their intent but that seems like a logical thing to me.
No, I just think the animators have a good sense of humor and Pixar likes to do quirky things. That is one thing I love about them, the continuity and sense of fun the filmmakers seem to have. It is endearing - Dreamworks and the other studios don’t have that.
heh, i just saw that. I like how they do that stuff in their movies.
Ahh yes, I always look for Doc during that sequence
AAAUUUGGHH!!! TI was just on…i wish i had seen this 2 hours ago…i would have looked for him.
Oh well, next time…i’ll be ready,
