I think it’s safe to say the recall is now a thing of the past.
Last night, I stumbled upon brand new Cars die-cast double packs! 
There are 4 in all:
For each double pack, the pull tab slides in and out to switch images (similar to an interchangeable billboard) on the package, which is a good reason NOT to tear it apart.

The release of the Wal-Mart exclusive Cars bonus DVD brought brand new Cars die-casts into the stores. The ones I listed below are currently available for purchase.

I just went to target today for the VG, and picked up a new Mater and the Dinoco 400 pack. It has McQ, Chick, King, Nitroade, Leakless, Vinyl Toupee, No Stall and Octane Gain…EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
All I have so far is Kori Turbowitz, Sally, Cruisin’ McQueen, DJ, Dirt McQueen (uuh, I think thats wut he’s called???) Cactus McQueen, Chick, and the best ones yet!
