I wonder if anyone of you collect Pez dispensers–and if there hasn’t already been a thread that mainly focuses on Pez collecting (i.e. what Pez do you own, collection photos, etc.). After all, I am a Pez collector, but all my pieces in the display had to be bagged up and they won’t be coming out for a while because I’m still trying to find Elastigirl and Dash.
I have Batman, all four of the Incredibles(they didn’t produce Violet, ), Nala, Rapunzel, Finn McMissile, and a number of other Pez myself. Leirin, that’s gorgeous! And I know. They should have more respect for customers by making dolls that come with decent clothing. I shouldn’t have to redress every single doll!
I still say we should do a Pez collecting thread.
We could upload photos. Really even though I’ve been much into dolls since 2010, I think it’s safe to say I collect toys in general moreso then specifically dolls. Dolls are about 1/3 maybe of my total collection. Then I have action figures, collectibles like snow globes, and smaller collections like Pez and Cars from the movie Cars. I have almost all of the main cast from both films, so unless I find Sarge I’m done collecting them. I would like Francesco and the villains from Cars 2, but I don’t actively look for them. I really wish they would make a doll or action figure of Elastigirl that would be to scale with my Mr. Incredible action figures. I doubt they will though. I even thought about customizing a Merida doll to be her, but Merida’s face mold is way too wide. Also wish they would get back into non-princess characters like Megara, Jane, Esmeralda and Kida. Or even make Kida a princess, but that’ll never happen.
I horribly want Kida and Jane dolls. Wait, were Violet dolls never made?? That deeply bothers me.
Also, the Barbie came!! She and her packaging are gorgeous <3 The materials are so high quality.
They made one Violet doll, I’ve never seen her in real life. But they didn’t make Helen or anyone else.
She is really pretty! I like her hat.
…Seriously, no Helen?? That almost repulses me.
I know! It would be cool to have or even see the Violet doll, but I would pay a lot or maybe even trade for Helen.
I’ve recently began collecting Viva Piñata stuff. I’ve got a nice little collection thus far! All the games ever released, one DVD, and one figure. Not much, but there wasn’t much to begin with. Most of these were secondhand so they were relatively inexpensive. The games aren’t very popular so I’m lucky. There’s a bunch of figures I still need though… as well as two DVDs.
(I made that big Fergy piñata replica on the left myself! He’s not done yet but I felt he needed to be there anyway, haha.)
^So that explains what’s on both your avatar and your signature!^
Wow! Nice pinata. I made several Incredibles-related sculptures in school.
Since I’m moving out and my parents are moving somewhere else, I have to get rid of a lot of my things. So the only collection I’m really keeping is my Disney pin collection, I just have to put it on a smaller board.
You’re moving out? Or are you still in college?^
I got 2 new dolls this weekend at second hand stores. One is an Anastasia doll (from the cartoon), and an ethnic doll of some kind. I don’t know what country she is from, but regardless of the country I love traditional ethnic clothes. I’ll take some pictures.
Wow, that’s awesome! I have an Anastasia doll, but her hair has an awful chop job, aand I don’t have her original clothes. Some kids I know gave her to me.
The one I had actually came with an extra dress, and her hair can go in and out.
Remember how I mentioned somewhere that I’ve been to California? Well, I have recently found my one true self–Pixar fanatic in paradise (as according to the occupation part of my profile). So today it’s mostly Pixar stuff with a few tropical paradise-themed stuff here and there. That includes my very own live palm tree specimen, Cali la Majestic (pronounced Cali the Majestic). Plus, since I have started building up my résumé (and since I’m officially graduated from high school with no plans for going to college), now my goal is move out west within a few years (probably up to 5 years at the most) in order to live somewhere near the Bay Area and be able to get a job at Pixar. And what is my office going to look like? A tropical paradise (and with Pixar included), of course!
Kenzie, are you still living in Northern California? Will you ever meet John Lasseter in real life? I hope to meet him someday, along with Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and many others working at Pixar. (Who knows? Maybe one day I will see Michael Comet again.) I am currently still living in Ohio, having just started work at my local TJ Max with Richland NewHope, while at the same time, getting ready for 8 weeks of Aspirations and hoping to make friends with possibly some other Pixar fanatics (now those are the kinds of people I could possibly get along with quite easily!), and most important of all, with the promise to wait and learn how to drive until I am almost ready to move out. And then I shall (possibly) live somewhere in those distant surrounding areas near you (if that’s where you would still be living 5 years from now–that is…Northern California).
Now I admit I must’ve went off-topic here, but would this have been better off as a private message? On account of the fact that this post is so long…with which I forgive myself. (Talk about a Pixar fanatic who must give her all in order to continuously bring respect and high praise to the Pixar fandom–that’s me! Why? Because anything and everything Pixar should deserve to be treated with respect and great care–although I kinda don’t like the humanized versions of Pixar characters because I’ve always liked them just the way they are and have always been–and we as fanatics ourselves and they as animators should deserve to be treated with high honors. If only we could put an end to the negative Pixar criticism once and for all–who knows, maybe watching all of Pixar’s films will cause those ignorant people to think twice?) Now to end this post–and to get back on topic with my next post in this thread.

I guess it’s worth mentioning I’ve updated my animal figurine collection this past week…
I love prehistoric wildlife, including sabertooth cats! I only have a couple other mammals and a dinosaur, so this beauty will be a perfect addition
How awesome! Cats are the best animals.
^Thanks! It’s quite striking and awesome in person
