No, they’re too expensive for me. But I love them anyway. ![]()
David: Thaty’s awesome!!
I used to collect alot, but now its just toys. And I dont have too many of those.
Besides collecting Disney and Pixar films, I guess you could say I collect instruments. I have 4 guitars, a ukulele, and a mandolin.
That’s awesome!! You should post photos, because those are less common instruments, and you must have an interesting collection. ![]()
Yeah, you should! I’d love to see the mandolin. ![]()
Agreed!
Okay, sorry to double post, but obviously nobody is going to post anyway. So yesterday I got Ariel and Shang for my Disney doll collection. I’m so happy!! ![]()
Awesome! Shang… from Mulan, correct? ![]()
If you combine your interests with your dad’s, you essentially have the kinds of things I collect. ![]()
Do you mean Queen the band?
I used to collect Archie Comics and memorabilia when I was a kid, even though I didn’t find them funny back then. Or now.
Nowadays I collect animated movies on DVD/blu-ray, and the number’s currently around 130, not including short compilations or movies I have multiple copies of (see list here). I refer to this collection as my baby. It just keeps growing and growing! ![]()
In high school I started collecting Disney stuff, ranging from general merchandise to fancier figurines, my biggest being this Peter Pan figurine for around $400-500. Now, I’m not rolling around in money or anything, because back in high school, I pretty much only spent money on movies and Disney items, and for Christmas and my birthday I asked for animated movies. Oh yeah, and I love the Disney Store’s snowglobes. They used to have half-off sales and I would snag cool stuff then. Someone returned these awesome TS3 bookends (undamaged!) and the Disney Store sold them for, like, $35. Now I’m just waiting to graduate so I can settle into a new apartment and buy some fancy, big bookcase to properly display my collection.

Oh, and I guess I’ve sort of started collecting Criterion Collection releases (they release highly acclaimed films, especially old and foreign) but I have a rule for myself: unless it’s a gift, don’t purchase unless there’s a 50% off sale, because they’re usually $35 or so otherwise. This summer I spoiled myself with about 14 titles as a birthday present. ![]()
(I hope she doesn’t mind me answering for her
