Easter!!!

FONY - Have a good time. And eat lots of

chocolate

[quote="Fairly Odd New

I found out I’ll be going to Hershey for a day on Easter Sunday.
Well have fun

there. Where is that anyways?

TSS - (heheh) I believe

Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Home of the greatest thing man has, and ever will,

invent…CHOCOLATE!!!

JF -

Nope. The greatest thing man has ever ivented is Pixar!

I didn’t know there was such place. I hope you have fun FONY.

JesusFreak - I might be getting a little off-topic here, but

I’ve gotta agree with Bill: Pixar rules!

As candy goes

Sour Gummy Worms bring down da’ house!

But easter is also a very passionate day. I

mean, at my church, many people come out of service crying.

Yep – It’s the biggest christian holiday!

Passion of Christ came out two easters ago I believe. Now

if you want real passion, and emotion: That movie on the day of easter.

The Passion of the Christ is indeed an excellent

and very powerful movie. Even though I already knew what was going to happen (I’ve read the Bible for as long as

I can remember, after all  ), the movie was very moving and was, to me, a reminder of what Jesus had to go

through to save us from sin.

I think the movie came out on Ash Wednesday, though, and not Easter. However,

I could be wrong

The Passion

of the Christ is the most moving and beautiful film I’ve ever witnessed. I’m also a Christian,

so I was amazed at how well the production was done. Tore me apart…but put a smile on my face at the same time.

I couldn’t bear to watch that. Even on easter. It is

just too painful.

Mitch:

Yes,

The Passion was a very moving movie. It really shows the real part of what lead

Jesus to being crucified on the cross when it was released in theaters in early

2004. I almost cried too to see how strongly Christ was mistreated before dying. But

is the truth about how he really died in order save us, his children so we will not have to go through what he

went through on that cross.

All:

Just as

Mitch is Christian, i’ am also as well. But I don’t go to church much like I use

to when I was younger and was once catholic.
I may go to my old church that I use to go every sunday when I

was still catholic, on Easter Sunday though. After that, my family and I will likely have a big lunch and spend

sometime, and may even go do some egg cracking on each other in which many Latinos call them ‘cascarones’ in

the many of the countries of central america, and of course mine of origin, M?xico.

But sunday looks to

be a drury day here where I live especially for the first part, with cold weather and little more rain. Hopefully

the skies will cooperate during the afternoon though :sunglasses:

dances I’m off to Hershey Park tomorrow- Chocolate avenue to be exact.

I shall be sure to eat

chocolate either outside the park or in small amounts in the park- apparently rides don’t mix with chocolate. At

least, I remember getting sick on the Comet, several times actually. I’ll probably not go on that

again.

The only thing that stinks is I’ll have to tote my camera around and take pictures even though we

have a bunch from there already. And my family’s odd when it comes to pictures. It’s always 'I don’t look so

good in that one, take another!’ =P Drives me up a wall.

Quick trip anyways- we’ll be heading back

Sunday night. =P

Wow, that’s funny, cuz I

watched The Passion last night…So good! That’s the only movie that’s made me cry…But I’m glad He went

through it all!

I believe it was February 25, 2004. In

February and March of 2004 some MAJOR things happened in my life, so I kinda remember this stuff…:stuck_out_tongue:

Dory’s Defender - My thoughts exactly. Imagine how many people got saved after

watching that film… It touched alot of hearts, that’s for sure. I was resisting the urge to cry outright –

such a lovely film…

JesusFreak:

Haha, how lovely to know you knew the release date pretty much

on the time it did become released in theaters. But they should have had it released near or on the time of the

month we are in currently.

Are you really into Jesus? True Christian may I

ask?

Mitch:

Welp, I still cannot say

it changed everyone who went into the theater with their family or friends that wanted them to see it. But yes,

it made a great effect on the world. I seen that many don’t know the realm of the real reason why Jesus died for

all of us on the cross and what it would mean for them. Many were saved by this movie. And once you are, it can

never be reverted by anyone or even the one we know who is trying to take us away from Christ.
I’ am very

sure you do know that this world we live in is our temporary home, and our own physical bodies is also temporary

from what our ownselves live in.

All of us humans are going to the same direction. Some of the prophecies

have been fulfilled if you know what they are. We could be the last generation to ever exist on earth before that

time comes which I do know is definitely not out of reach.

The Passion of the

Christ was a great movie…I thought it did a wonderful job of showing the beuty of Christ through

all the blood and gore. Really makes you think…
