Easter!!!

Mitch -

Yes, it’s Portuguese.

GLP - You have portuguese

lessons?!

Note: the word “pessoal” does mean “staff”, but

in this case, it means “people”. And the word “e” may just be one letter, but it means

“and”.

have a wonderful

easter!

Wow… this is

great - one other board that I frequent would be all up in arms if someone so much as mentioned religion. I love

it that we have a board mature enough to handle mature discussion like grown-ups. I love you guys.

(Aww…)

As Mitch said, Happy Resurrection Day! The weather is being dumb outside - I went to the sunrise

service (which was being held outside) wearing two layers and wrapped in a blanket. And I really wanted to wear

this wrap I bought in DC yesterday, but it’s too thin and I will freeze… oh well. Last year it rained (I’m

talking torrential downpour as soon as the service was over), so I’m not complaining… much.

And

now I must go get ready for Easter brunch, but since we’re doing foreign languages here: Ich hoffe, da? ihr

fr?hliche Ostern habt und habt eine gute Zeit mit euren Familien. Er ist angestiegen!

I agree  I’m glad that we all

respect each others’ beliefs over here.

And yes, Happy Easter to everyone. Being a Catholic myself, I

just want to thank Jesus for resurrecting and giving us hope. Of course, after over forty days of sacrificing ice

cream (for Lent), I’m glad that I was finally able to eat a bowl earlier today in my residence’s cafeteria! It

was quite delicious, but the odd thing is that it seemed as though I just ate ice cream yesterday - time

certainly moves by quickly.

Happy easter, everybody! Mmm… chocolate… :stuck_out_tongue: But before I go

and spend time with my fellow cars, I’d like to post this easter-y picture that I finished

yesterday:

deviantart.com/deviation/52678166/

(It’s on a different DeviantArt account

of mine, btw. So I’m still the same person but with two accounts.)

KE: Awww, thank you so much.

Anyways, I really

hate the weather here right now. It is too cloudy and it looks really bad. Not much to do outside on a cloudy

easter day.

Ya (regarding religion) it is a pretty chill crowd here.

And nice

drawing Candy.

Happy Easter, Pixar friends!

And no one

mention chocolate again, okay? I swear, I’m gonna be sick!

I forgot about that , I haven’t had the class for 4 days .

Yeah , the language is very popular where I live . It’s so popular , every time we have pizza we have

a choice between cheese or chorico . I always grab he chorico .

Thank you

aZnCdn.

I’m back from Hershey- 'twas cold. I didn’t get to go

on a lot of rides 'cause of that, but WalMart made up for the bad times. I managed to get a lot of Cars cars

from it. And the Cars soundtrack, finally.

Sick of chocolate though and my ear’s still not better,

and I’m developing a cold- which isn’t good for my ear since every time I blow my nose my ear goes nuts with

all the popping and the aching. =P

Ah well. Besides the sickiness and coldness, my easter was alright.

Boy, I’m glad the portuguese language is

popular in other parts of the world… Excluding, of course, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola and all the other

countries that have portuguese as the official language

If you need any help with those classes, you

can count on me.

Happy belated Easter people! Mine wasnt bad. One of the better Easters

actually. (not to mention I got a good start on a new drawing! )

Welp, I dunno about you guys but I had a great Easter

Sunday! Church was wonderful, as always (we triumphed over an ensuing battle…again!).

After church,

my dad took me and my sister out to Islands for a quick lunch before driving on back

home for a quick rest. And just to sum it all up, last night we watched Happy Feet.

It was the first time mom had seen it, and she ended up loving it.

So yeah, a great day all-in-all! Oh,

and I saw Blades of Glory with my dad and sister on Saturday, and it was absolutely

hilarious. I hadn’t laughed so hard in a theater since I saw Finding

Nemo in cinemas. Great stuff! This one hot dog part had me in stitches…

(snigger)

Maggie and gottalovepixar - Man, alot

of Portuguese-speaking people here! Well, only two…but that’s still alot when you think about it – heheh.

KE - I agree – I love this place. Everyone is respectful of another’s

views and opinions, which is exactly how it should be. And we all love you too, by the way.

Pixel Candy - Nice drawing! I love the colors.

The

Star Swordsman - Wow – scary. It’s been cloudy over here too for the past few days. Kinda

odd…

FONY - Oh dear. I hope you recover soon.

hugs

lennonluvr9 - Awesome! I can’t wait to see your new drawing.

PV - You’ve gotta be kidding me. When are you

not working? (snigger) Well, I trust you had a great Easter none-the-less.

I had a

really good Easter. Church was two hours long, and we had a huge amount of trouble getting out of the parking

lot. Just backing up was an issue because the cars just kept on comin’. I got The Lord of the Rings trilogy as

a set for a present. Which I highly recommend, since it was the Extended Edition. It cost 70 dollars though. We

then went to a buffet for dinner and I ended up eating a lot more than I usually do: ham, beef, rolls, bacon,

butterbun, cheesecake, cream puffs, and jelly beans.

So I had a wonderful Easter.

Nice to know people had a good Easter!

I basically spent the day lounging around

and ignoring revision. It was sunny, which was definitely a positive, but of course, it being Easter, everywhere

was closed so we couldn’t actually do anything. I did catch a bit of Passion of the Christ in the evening, and

my…god. I love horror films, so I’m never too worried when it comes to gore, but it was just…extreme.

Majorly extreme. I ended up only watching one scene, where these guys were just shredding his skin up with these

whip-like things, and then they put that crown of thorns on his head…Woah.

But yeah, generally, a nice

relaxing Easter.

Nice to know you had a great Easter, LG!!!

Did the easter bunny visit you guys? It did for me. On my computer. Someone sent me a cute

easter email.

TSS - Heck yah! I’m still sick!

Oh, sorry to hear

that Gasduude. I hope the feeling of springtime will make you feel better.
