Okay, so I was taking care of kids at work today and I had one kiss me on the cheek playfully 3 times. Kinda akward and cute at the same time.
That is cute.
Now we just need to figure out what it’s like with the one were dating or married to.

unforuntately, her kissing me on the cheek would be considered inapporpriate behavior, so I told her the next time she wants to kiss me, I would have to call her parents. Not sure how she reacted or thought of that.
Poor kid! You’re right though, you can’t just let kids run around and do that. Do the kids at your work ever kiss each other?
No. Absolutely not. But the hilarous thing is that most of the boys (who happen to be 9-12) talk a lot about having girlfriends and kissing.
My first kiss was in kindergarden. It was on Valentines day. Even back then I was a romantic

I had one girl I liked back when I was 2nd-3rd grade age.
According to my friend (who was also her brother) she was planning on having me follow her into a room where shed plant one right on the lips.
I was thankful he told me otherwise I’d be walking into a trap id regret.

No, we didn’t actually. I’m not that old but back then we didn’t do dating that young. But whenever we played “Boys Chase Girls/Girls Chase Boys” (self-explanatory game) he would always pick me to chase and I chased him. He was really sweet to me and everyone knew we liked each other but then he moved back to PEI and I’ve never seen him since. I would have dated him if we were older though!

I’m actually really nervous that I’m gonna get mine tonight. There’s a kid from my gradeschool here in Maryland, and it’s this whole big bunch of family affair things and we all have our own cabins and what not. But we were hanging out last night and him and one of my brother’s friends were whispering like two feet away, and looking at me, and I knew knew it was about me. I don’t know for sure, but I’m almost positive. He keeps tramping around and told my friend that we’re going out, and he wanted to fake to the parents that we were too. I’m just afraid it’s gonna be a one time kiss-thingy tonight and then we won’t see eachother again for months, and I don’t want that. I want my first kiss to be during like a real “steady” relationship. That’s what I think right now. But what if we somehow end up alone outside and it’s dark and he wants to kiss me and I don’t know what to do if I should or not and I’ve never kissed anyone before so how do I know what to do? And I don’t want to I’m scared and I’m getting butterflies but just nervous kind, not the “I looove him” kind. And so now I don’t know what to do and I’m again hiding in our cabin. But I’ve got to go out and face it sometime! We’ve got four hours til dark. Ehhh
I wish you the best of luck Katie! Just don’t force it! Kissing will be a natural thing, you’ll know when to do it.
Ohhh! Katie, you poor girl! You sound so nervous! I’m guessing that this get together already happened? Do you want to tell us what happened? I hope you did whatever you feel comfortable with…and I know that exact feeling you were describing. It happened to me and I gave in and wasted my first kiss.

Off topic a bit, but a few years ago I did work experience in a junior school with 5 and 6 year olds, and one girl was talking about how she had a boyfriend in year 6 (thats 10 or 11) and how they were going on a “romantic date” at playtime. It was funny and a tad disturbing really
I’ve only had one, and it was not wanted by me. I hope it’s a long while(or forever) before it happens again.
