Ever Had A First Kiss?

I’m with rock-itpop. Other than the incident, no boy has ever wanted to kiss me.

Nope here! And I’m totally fine with it. Like woody said, I want it to be amazing. And not just anyone. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the only guy I ever kiss will be the guy I marry?

Sad part there is you’ll never know who it might be.

Yeah, but I still think it would be the sweetest true love thing ever. sigh  When I think of true love I think of Carl and Ellie. I guess I’ll know whenever my Carl comes around

Never been fortunate enough…

I technically had my first kiss when I was 5 or 6. Seriously. This boy in my class just kind of tried it one day.

It was awful. He bit the sides of my mouth!

I ended up pushing him into the toy shop stand thing we had there because I hadn’t wanted him to do it in the first place anyway and he cried.

Good times… goood times.

/sarcasm. :stuck_out_tongue:

(In any case I basically knew him from the ages of 5 to 18 for all my school career. We ran in different social circles for the most part.)

In any case my first proper kiss was I think at 15 with a different guy in my year. We were in the south of France at the time on a school tip thing in tents, though it wasn’t particulary romantic I’ll admit. I remember being really nervous. Also it was kind of under the pressure of other people ‘setting us up’ or whatever (which to this day, even when my friends do it, is kind of something I HATE. The awkwardness abounds! ). Nerve wracking really. It didn’t last long. It was okay for the most part but nothing special. But of course everyone in the whole school knew the next day. My sister rang me to tell me she knew even (she’s a year younger). Ah the joys of mobile phones and texting meaning gossip is spread like wild fire!

In any case kids, don’t get too hung up if you haven’t kissed anyone yet or feel presurred like I did (though I was generally a shy little thing too and easily manipulated). Screw other people’s expectations and go at your own pace whatever that might be and taking your time is fine. It won’t matter once you graduate that much in any case who kissed a girl/boy first or… other things. It’s not a race in the long run even if for a short time it seems like it is sometimes.

Just do it when you’re ready with someone you like and who likes you back. Plus don’t worry too much about sucking AT IT, that stuff sometimes takes practice in any case and beyond pecking most people do at least a little at first. No-one is a pro at kissing for the very first time! Though it sometimes helps to take it slowly in the event itself. But don’t let anyone tell you differently about that or make you feel too presurred. Nerves are natural though of course in any case- whether the first kiss is the very first one or with someone just new. Plus as you get older romance can just get even more complicated for… various reasons.

But it’s also exciting in it’s own way- and even if your very first kiss was nothing exciting or great like mine it’s not the end of the world. There will be other first kisses in their own way maybe- and hopefully you’ll eventually find that person you’ll have your last first kiss with too.

I’ve lived nearly a quarter of a century and still haven’t been kissed. I used to be really down about it. Now I’m wondering how long I can keep this streak going. I want to know how long I can hold out until it’s absolutely unavoidable.

Most awesome game in the world!

My first mouth-to-mouth kiss was in high school, when I started a relationship with someone. Since then, I’ve kissed on rare occasions, but not on the lips in a long time.

My lips are dry…

Well, yes and no. It wasn’t consensual, and I wasn’t happy at all. I think he was pranking me! How rude. :frowning:

…I need plenty of lip balm to keep them moist nowadays.

Whoa, that sounds weird to me, cause in my country it’s natural for boys and girls to greet each other with a kiss in the cheek.

It has nothing to do with romance, it’s just a normal thing among friends.

uhm, well, i got kissed on the cheek by this kid in second grade. he came up to me at recess and he’s like, “you’re acting weird,” and naturally i have no idea what he’s talking about, and so i’m just staring at him like lolwut…and then he kissed me on the cheek and ran away.

i got so freaked out. it was hilarious. i was like, “i’m telling your mom!” and then he started crying and then i just ran to the bathroom.

my first kiss on the mouth was, like, seventh grade or something. i feel really weird admitting that. idk why. don’t judge me? D:

Arguably, you guys never forget your first kiss.

I think I never want to be kissed on the lips again. I might be biased, but I think it’s easily one of the 2 or 3 most uncomfortable things I’ve ever felt.

I’ve given CPR to a dummy xD

Nah, kissless here as well. I hear they’re extremely awkward, so I’m tempted to try to avoid the awkwardness or to try to make it as awkward as possible xD I don’t think it would be appreciated though…

 Nope, not me. I’m almost a sophomore in high school and not yet! But all my friends who never kissed anyone before are starting to get boyfriends and stuff, but I’m stuck. Ah well, maybe over the summer or something  I don’t really care, I’ll be patient if it’s worth it

Evangeline: Hehe, I’m 18, and still waiting. To be honest, I think it’s crazy when people have their first kiss when they’re 13 or 14. Because then it’s really awkward. I’ve heard the hilarious stories from my friends :stuck_out_tongue:

Personally I fail to see what the big deal is. If anyone kisses a lot, is it really that great, or just some way of showing affection? It was very odd for me.

TWCS: 8D It just sounds awkward to me. Like, I can’t even imagine that sitting here right now. It sounds kinda eewish, but then again I don’t know

Virginia: shrug I don’t know. From what my friends say they sound like it’s nice or something. I can’t see ever being comfortable with that though
