Favorite feature film bloopers

I think one of my favorite TS2 blooper is the cameo of Flik and Heimlich in the

“a Bug’s Life 2” take. It got me there for a sec because before TI, ABL was my favorite Pixar

film.

That blooper was very humourous.

My favorites are the bloopers from A Bug’s

Life.

Hopper: This is the last take, I cannot work like this, I will be in my trailer.

Or the one where Hopper’s brother (the name escapes me at the

moment) constantly cracked up over the threats.

Bill - Heheh – his name is “Molt”. Yeah, that was a pretty funny

blooper, too.

That blooper was funny, but my minor quip is it seemed to go on for along time!

I wonder if

they’ll bring back bloopers with Ratatouille? I think they should.

That

would be cool, but I don’t think they will.

JV – Why not, may I ask? I mean, the only reason Pixar

got rid of them is “not to be too predictable”, right? So it’s been like 5 or 6 years now…

Well, if they don’t make any bloopers on

Ratatouille, why don’t we invent some?

Gasduude - Pixar always likes to try new stuff for there movies, they did

bloopers for 3 of there films, and then they just tried different stuff, Like the ending of Cars for example,

with the John Ratzenberger thing, I thought it was a very good ending to Cars and I hope Pixar will either do

bloopers again of try something new for the end of Ratatouille.

JV - And don’t forget that, at the end of Finding

Nemo, they animated the characters from the film swimming around during the credits. Kinda cool –

it was something different from their usual blooper reel. And the same goes for

Cars, like you said.

I would like to see some

Ratatouille bloopers, though! Like Linguini burns up the kitchen, or Remy really

doesn’t know how to cook off the set or something… (snigger)

Mitch – (Haha) Yeah, that

would be funny!

Maggie – Yup, I see a Ratatouille

Bloopers post in the future!

I guess the whole thing is if Pixar thinks that some of

their characters/scences have somewhere to go to make some bloopers, that’s awesome! However, I agree with what

your saying, JV, I don’t want them to make bloopers just to make bloopers!

GD - If you

watch the Finding Nemo visual commentary at the end, Andrew said, and this is quoting from the best of my memory,

"One of the things I had a mission about was to not do outtakes anymore. And it’s not because I was against

them, I loved them. I thought they were hysterical, but it’s like they run they’re course. There actually is a

limit to the number of gags you can do. After a while, you start to see the flubbed line or the prat

fall…"

So there you have it.

Gasduude - Heheh – I’m actually kind of hoping

that Linguini does burn up the kitchen at one point or another in the film. It just

makes too much sense!

Bill - Yeah, I also remember Mr. Stanton saying

that near the end of the Finding Nemo commentary…and I agree with him 100%. I

absolutely love bloopers, but they do get rather redundant after a period of

time…

Bill – Ah, I see…

Well let’s hope he does some neat thing like the

Cars Ratzenberger ending with Wall-E

anyway!

Thanks for the heads up!

I don’t

think they should. I think it is nice to put it in as extras in DVDs

TSS - Well,

ya, either way…

But I guess

it wouldn’t be so bad. If they put in a set of bloopers in the credits, they should at least put in more in the

DVD.

Yeah. Maybe something like at the

end of Finding Nemo, where they had Mike Wazowski swim across the screen!

Or maybe they can do something like in Cars, but that would be too

repetitious.
