Favorite Voice Actor?

Well, I don’t really think the cast are actually really big names, with the exception of Kevin Spacey. Most of the others have everyday names like Tom Hanks (Toy Story), Owen Wilson (Cars), Sigourney Weaver (Wall-E), Christopher Plummer (Up), Billy Crystal (Monsters, Inc.) and so on, but with ABL the cast is heavily reliant on sitcom stars of the day, some of which have become pretty big, and some who haven’t.

Well, you need to remember that when abl came out it was in the nineties. Almost all the actors in abl were also in popular nineties sitcoms like Everybody Loves Raymond, Seinfeld, Fraiser, and a lot more. So audiences back then were quite familier.

Aye, I guess.

I didn’t mean they were A-listers, just that people would recognize them.

Obviously I didn’t because I was like…5, when that came out. 8D

Well, I never minded the actors until I was like 10. When I was little, I was just fascinated by the pretty colors and Flik’s strangely relateable personality.

Dude, please stop linking to websites. :frowning: Please. It’s random, an diverts from the topic at hand.

It’s “random”? 8D

Back on-topic, Rhoddy McDowell! It’s a shame he’s gone, imo. :frowning:

^I agree. :frowning:

He was brilliant! Not in the film much, but if you look at what he was in before…he’s one of the great actors imo.

My favorite will always be Dave Foley, though.

Oh yeah same, but I was just saying how good the cast is over all, and Rhoddy McDowell was one of the greats

There’s not a single bad voice in the bunch.

Hopper and the ‘wanna-be-a-beautiful-butterfly’ Caterpillar are my top picks. Accent, and Malevolence.

It’s hard for me to pick just one. So I split it up into categories:

Funniest Voice Acting: Joe Ranft (Heimlich), Brad Garrett (Dim), or Richard Kind (Molt)
Most Badass Voice: Dennis [i]Leary/i
Most Audio Pleasing: Julia Louis Dreyfus
Most Interesting: Michael McShane (Tuck and Roll)

Most Badass Voice: Dennis Hopper (Francis)

I think you mean Denis Leary, friend.

Facepalm, you’re right IncredibleVirginiaGirl. I keep mixing them up.

It’s alright. It’s their fault for sharing a first name in Hollywood. 8D

Obviously already added some input, but I actually think that this film alone has the best range of performances, from horrendously aggressive (Kevin Spacey’s Hopper, of course), cute (Hayden however you spell her last name as little Dot), endearing (Dave Foley’s Flik), just downright hilarious (most of the circus bug actors), and just…kind. I think it’s brilliant… 8D

I agree. I’ve always thought ABL was the strongest Pixar film in the ensemble cast area.
