Favourite Scene

I mentioned that too! Definetely one of those lines from the movie that will be stuck in my head as a memorable quote!

One thing I love about Cars is the setting. Though they’re usually really short, I love the scenes in Cars that emphasize the location. Seeing them just reminds me of home, since I live in a similar area and I’m familiar with the type of landscape in the movie.
(I actually live on Route 66! )

^ :open_mouth: That.Is.Awesome! Yes, the landscape always blows me away, in both the movies.

NO WAY! That’s so cool! I always wanted to go out there! I agree, there is no doubt that Pixar does their research on settings, landscapes, and such. Sometimes seeing photos of the created landscape by itself, I forget that it’s computer animated- It looks so real. Detail, detail, detail. Pixar always has those things that you don’t notice most of the time but if it wasn’t there, you would say “Why isn’t that there?” 8D . Disney is the same way! Like everything in the parks are amazingly detailed. :open_mouth:

Another scene I love from Cars is when Lightning shows his new R. Springs look to Sally. I love it when he’s circling her and she purrs and says “Ka-chow.” It’s just too cute. <3 Oh and I noticed something. Mater says “Ladies and Gentlecars…” when introducing the “new” Lightning McQueen and in Cars 2, “Ladies and Gentlecars” is used to introduce Axlerod at the Tokyo Gala BUT when Rusty and Dusty introduce Lightning in the beginning of the first movie, they say “Ladies and Gentle-MEN…”

:open_mouth: MUST STOP BEING SO ANALYTICAL.

Whoa…I never noticed that. makes mental note to watch Cars for the sole purpose of seeing that I like how you mention that bit with Sally purring at him. As I shipper, I enjoy that too. :sunglasses:

Teehee , I like how she does it. I could never do that sexy purr thing- I sound like Chewbacca. 8D

Hahaha! Same! I’ve tried doing it before…I guess either you can do it good like her or you can’t do it at all. There isn’t really a middle ground. 8D

Hahahaha! One or the other and I definitely can’t do it at all. I remember the first time I tried and my boyfriend was like “Uhhh, what was that?” 8D

LOL! That’s why I did it when no one was around. I think we are getting waaay off-topic now though! 8D

Speaking of favorite scenes that are shippy…

GUH. <3 <3 <3

I think this scene from Cars 2 probably got the most laughs out of me. It when Mater left the note for Lightning and the RS gang telling them that he was leaving. “P.S. Please tell the hotel I didn’t mean to order that movie. I thought it was a preview and didn’t know I was paying for it. P.P.S: That’s funny right there. P.P.S. Ugh, there’s a few more PPS’s on here.”

Ballboi: Yeah, that was funny… 8D I wonder who was paying for the whole thing? Most likely Lightning since he’s the richest… :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, he probably did. I don’t know but Luigi’s accent when he said it made it funny. 8D

I agree, that was funny. And Guido’s eyes in that scene.

One of my favorites from Cars 2 was when Mater said: “Queen, McQueen. McQueen, Queen. McQueen, McMissile. McMissile, McQueen.” 8D

Its just a house from up.

Haha! I was thinking about that one too! 8D

It was probably paid for by Axelrod. Even if Lightning hadn’t brought his friends along, he still would have had his pit crew. Since Axelrod was sponsoring the event to… “promote” Allionol, I’m guessing he handled things like transportation and lodging.

Ballboi: Hahahahaha, yes. Love that scene. 8D

Or maybe the Allinol company since they created the Prix and sponsored it and all.

Snipe: Yes! Haha, I bet you there are some awesome bloopers with Larry the Cable Guy trying to say that. 8D

Which one is that?

Here’s another scene that got a laugh out of me.It was when Lightning was chasing Mater in London. “No Mater, you are the bomb! And you’ll always be the bomb!”

The complete irony of it is what makes it so funny. 8D
