I probably wont be seeing it unless
someone asks me to see it with them. I never saw Shrek 1 but that is how I got roped into seeing Shrek 2. Again,
it was okay and decent enough.

I think if you saw the first
one, then the second one, then it would be even funnier. At least that is what I think. It is going to be hard to
match the humor of the second one to the third one.
The Star Swordsman - Here is the plot:

Personally, the first part of the beginning
sentence makes me rather depressed. I like king Harold. Heh.
hmmmm. may 18th huh?
Oh, what an
awsome plot. Once again, good vs evil, all for a spot on the throne. I wonder at times who will become the next
heir. I predict it will be Shrek.
I never thought of Prince Charming as an evil villain. More like a wannabe. I
can remember musing about the film and I came up with this- since the Fairy Godmother … burst …
I
thought Prince Charming would follow in his mother’s footsteps and become the new Fairy Godmother. Craaaazzy
thought. But it was simply random thinking. Strange things happen when I think.

Mitch: I too like King Harold. I think it’s 'cause the incredible edible
John Cleese voices him. x3
The Star Swordsman - And I predict it will be Puss N’ Boots. ![]()
(snigger) I’m just kidding. You’re right – it most likely will be Shrek who will claim the throne
after King Harold.
FONY - Ohh…so John Cleese was behind the magic, eh?
Heheh – I should know my actors better. And, actually, I liked Harold better as a frog. It just…suits him.
![]()
hmm. i wonder why does king harold get ill? Will he die?
i hope he doesn’t
i liked him at the end,
I didn’t like the ending of the second one,
where he turned into a frog. But that’s just my opinion. I liked him better when he was human.
But it gives a powerful ending to the second movie Bill. He was an ugly frog, but the queen still loves him.
Same applies with SHrek, he is an ogre, but still, Fiona loves him. The king just couldn’t see that until the
end.
This has
to be one of 2007’s most anticipated Ani movies of this summer.
Seen both previous ones, and liked both
of them. I see this was one of the only true custom animation productions Dreamworks has ever made where I do see
the ideas from the producers or directors came from themselves who started Shrek.
I believe Dreamworks’
other now made animation productions really dont fit in with their first ever made one.
But I did read
sometime ago, that they were going to be producing more and more ani films over the course of the next few years.
And it has been happening.
Dreamworks comes in second in the 3-D Animation film industry aside from the king
studios of it we all know here at PP that is based from it.
Guess what? yesterday I saw a new ttrailer for Shrek the third, and guess what also? Justin
Timberlake plays a part in Shrek the third.
Justin Timberlake? Oh my! Obviously, he would play a
really attracting part to females. I hope to see it soon, so I can start laughing. ![]()
Yeah I had low hopes
for Shrek the thrid, but you know… I saw alot of funny gags in there… So there is somethign there. it’s not
really something thats going to remain in our memories forever or really inspire us, like Pixar or Disney, but
it’s all in good fun. Dreamworks may not be Pixar but they make people laugh and that’s a good quaility to
have.
I actually think number 3 looks better than the first two, but thats just me. did anyone know that
theyre making madagasgar 2?? and not only that but theyre making a movie about a kung foo panda, and a movie
about a bee… i dont know about those…lol
I saw it tonight. It was good- I felt it was missing something though. It felt
short. But it was funny. I was paying too much attention to detail to notice- I like how they added loads of
detail to Shrek’s clothing and fluff on the donkey dragon babies.
Overall, it’s worth seeing. But I
think they’re getting a little lax with it. They could’ve done without Donkey and Puss switching bodies that’s
for sure. And they leaked out too much info on the commercials and stuff.
Heheh – yeah, I heard that it’s not as good as the
previous two. Kinda sucks, but I’m not too surprised; in fact, I was expecting it to be just fairly adequate.
I’m going to see it tomorrow, just because it’s something to do and because I need a few laughs.
(snigger)
I have heard many mixed reviews of this movie. Overall, it was good, but it could’ve been
better. There is proof right there that it is so hard to do a threequel. I still might want to see it
anyways.
I personally adore the dragon-donkeys.
I wish they had more scenes of them. They were just
too cute. :3
Just saw it. Eh – it was alright. The gags had me laughing pretty hard in some places, and
the animation was absolutely superb…as usual. However, I think it lacked something, although I can’t quite put
my finger on what it was. I suppose the story could have been a little stronger, and some of the gags could have
been funnier…
I like Artie, though. I think I have a new favorite Shrek character. That whole ending
actually made me smile during the film for once. ![]()
Oh, and this whole concept was just brilliant:
[spoil]When Artie visualizes himself as a young bird, it was quite heartfelt…in a way.
'Twas rather touching, actually…[/spoil]
Not to mention…
[spoil]…no
more Harold. Why does my favorite character always die?! I don’t get it. And I liked Harold…
sigh[/spoil]
Oh well. The story could, of course, always use some improvement, but I’ll give
it a ‘B-’ for effort. ![]()
FONY - I like the dragon-donkeys, too! Heheh.
![]()
Mitch:
[spoil]Harold was my favorite too- thought it was kinda
dumb how they had him die 3 times, lol. But the frogs singing at his funeral were cool. Hehe
^^[/spoil]
I’d’ve liked Artie if it weren’t for the fact he looks a lot like every other
character … am I the only one who notices it? They need to get a little more cartoony with their people, to
show better character.
[spoil]I also loved Merlin/Eric Idle’s character. xD He was histerical.
‘If Artie trusts him, I trust him … even if his cloak’s a little too short’
lol![/spoil]
As for the villains …
[spoil]I didn’t like how they automatically
succumbed to Artie’s words. They could have developed a bit more on it to make it
believable.[/spoil]
And …
[spoil]I wanted to see more of the ogre babies! The
nightmare scene had me laughing so hard, lol! But the babies in the end were so adorable and I would’ve liked to
see more of them. They’ll probably be the reason I go to see Shrek 4.
