HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

So,

as I mentioned in the other Halloween thread, I dressed up as Carmen Sandiego… it was so much fun - I always

get a great reaction from people at school when I do. I guess there’s some thing about today’s college students

and 90’s nostalgia…

Anyway, I decided to take the fun to a whole other level and do something

memorable. The main classroom building on campus has this “Grand Lobby” where they do a lot of

formal-ish things on campus (banquets, press conferences, etc.), and in a very prominent place in the Grand Lobby

is a portrait of our founder/chancellor/president, Dr. Jerry Falwell. The original plan was for me to grab a

friend and get a picture of “Carmen” “stealing” the portrait, but just my luck, they’ve

decided to replace the portrait (originally somewhere around 16x20") with something bigger (now possibly 7

feet tall), so the empty spot where the portrait was was covered by a curtain… so now they look like

“Carmen” has already stolen the portrait, and is posing next to her handiwork… I think they rock,

though they’re kind of blurry (my friend isn’t the best

photographer).
