Has Anyone had a crush on a cartoon character?

I’m having a crush on Jewel from Rio and Fluttershy from MLP. Oh yeah, and Glyfie from LOTG. Does this make me a weirdo?

Not in a romantic way mind you (I am not a ‘furry’), more like a ‘personality’-thing. Although I have to admit, some animators and character designers are really good at their job. You only need to see Jessica Rabbit to admire the full extent of their artistic talents.

I used to have the biggest crush ever on Snap from ChalkZone. You can still walk around the house and find little Snap drawings I did behind furniture and stuff

I like Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot.

Ahh man, both Chalk Zone and My Life as a Teenage Robot were great shows

You’re a bird guy, huh? jk. Jewel is the only one of them I’m familier with. She’s cute, for both looks and personality.

I remember I like Kairi from Kingdom Hearts.

Laugh if you must. Personality? No. Looks? YES!!! <3

He’s not my favorite Prince, but I do love his adventerous spirit!

I must agree that he is an aesthetically pleasing character. I like the hairstyle

It’s interesting to watch the concept art and deleted scene videos on youtube of Pocahontas. Because originally John Smith was more historically accurate and was totally rocking a beardd.

^ That would be better.

Why are all those characters always clean-shaven?

Maybe they thought he looked evil. A lot of the bad guys has facial hair. Governor Ratcliffe, Jafar, Scar (sorta), Shan Yu, and Clayton all have facial hair.

Yes, it’s a horrid stereotype.

All the Princess movies are made using what’s popular with the decade they are in matched with it’s fairy tale counterparts. For example, Aurora’s dress was designed with Medieval dresses in mind, as well with dress that were popular in the 50s. Ariel’s wedding dress’s big poofy sleeves were the style that was popular in the 1980s.

Same with the dudes. If you notice, each prince is designed to look like what was attractive when the movie came out. Beast in human form bares remarkable resemblence to Fabio, while Prince Naveen was inspired by the Jonas Brothers.

So I imagine they clean shaved John Smith, because that was the style in the 1990s.

However, the one prince without facial hair (in human form that is) is Flynn Rider.

And still, it’s not even a proper beard.

Oh, me and my Donkey Kong Country fangirlism… laugh all you want but I just discovered I’ve got a crush on
General Klump from Donkey Kong Country, the TV show… what’s wrong with me, liking a fat lizard that’s actually a bad guy! I think it’s because he’s quite a softy, and he makes me laugh (or cry, sometimes) in almost anything he does. :stuck_out_tongue:

…I JUST THINK HE’S CUTE OKAY
Kind of like what TDIT said… it’s more of a personality thing. :stuck_out_tongue:

I remember that show. Had a VHS of it.

Believe me when I say there is absolutely no shame in that, Badger! XD And I will admit to enjoying the Donkey Kong Country cartoons. What’s incredible is Donkey Kong’s singing voice… Totally not what you’d expect coming from an ape.

I rememebr the episode was Donkey Kong lost his memory and the bad guys wanted him to join them.

^Yes!! I remember that too. I think he hit his head or something near the beginning of the episode. 8D
