I don’t ever crush on girls. However, I do become horribly obsessed with female leads(Belle, Rapunzel, Helen Parr, Holley, Princess Mononoke, Jasmine…lots! )
Yeah, I’m the same way about female characters! It’s more like a fascination and admiration. I’ve secretly always wanted to have a collection of Disney princess dolls 
I do! I have 8 so far(Belle, Beast[Adam!!!], Rapunzel, Aladdin, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Aurora, and Mulan). 
I will soon have 10. And you can. It may seem childish, but hey, I’m 2 years older then you. I have no shame.
I’m not shameful about collecting toys, even if it seems childish. Why would it be crime? Most kids our age do things I’m not even allowed to mention on here. 
A harmless hobby like collecting dolls is completely fine, and anyone who’d mock us for it is pathetic.
Collecting toys makes me feel good. It makes me happy. And I agree, ridicule for it is weak. Good thing my friends support me. Heck, most of those dolls came from my friends and Glenn for my birthday.
I don’t collect toys (because they’re expensive in here).
But I sometimes buy them, and I don’t think it’s something shameful, at any age. Maturity doesn’t reside there.

But the good thing is that you know the truth.
My dad always makes me feel guilty for the movies and objects I put emotional investment into. It’s quite hurtful. But you’re right, I just need to get over it. It’s just hard. I get too emotional over silly things.
Does your dad hate animation?
No, there are some he likes(Aladdin, Mulan, MI) but he hates on the ones I like that “go against his polotics” or tarnishthe book it is based on(Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Hunchback of Notre Dame). It is very annoying and hurtful.

You can? Personally, I wouldn’t classify those movies as political at all. I guess I’m just blind, or have bad taste. Whatever. My point is, I wish he would just shut up and let me enjoy life.
And i wish that people would allow other people to have crushes on cartoon characters despite they may or may night be of the human anatomy. they aren’t real anyway, so why does it matter if it’s a human or a pony?

I don’t have crushes on many cartoon characters but I thought that Rapunzel was cute. She was a bit bratty at times in the film which was fine. I loved her short brown hair at the end of the film to match her mother’s but it would of looked better as long.
I concur. I rather liked her hair short!
It would be funny if she was like “I wanna be a blondeie again! (crys)”
