Hospital experiences

Gasduude- The arm snapping

thing- ewww! That must’ve been horrible!

Mitch- Who’s Bill Crosby?

And in biology, we’ve dissected all sorts of things (dissecting fish was the worst- the smell was just

overpowering!) and I guess that’s sort of similar to a human, due to all the blood and everything, but for

someone to actually open up a human and do things to the inside of their body…That just seems so weird!

lizardgirl - Puh-ha!

Oops… Yeah, like Cosby changed his name to ‘Crosby’. (snigger) Sorry about that…

And I

think it’s cool! I used to watch mummies and surgeries on tv while eating chicken. My mom and sister still

don’t know how I do it. But really, I think it’s absolutely fascinating to see what’s inside of the human

body. You get to see how everything works and where it’s placed and… It’s just cool! Or maybe I’m just

weird? (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Yuck. My cousin had to dissect a fish – heh. She said it was pretty disgusting. But

it could’ve been worse: you could have had to dissect a pig or something. :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s a part of one story that I left out. My surgery

on my um… how do I say this… “other things” was very difficult to go through, especially becasue

I had to wait for an hour and a half before they could do the surgery, and afterwards, when the thing was over,

I got out of bed and could feel myself almost throwing up, and I was like "PUT ME BACK ON THE BED! PUT ME

BACK ON THE BED!"

I had to stay overnight, and they put me in a room with this really young kid who

had a problem with his leg I think. And he would just say " Owie" and be calling for his mother

because everytime he moved his leg, it hurt.
And when you have to listen to that for a whole night, it’s

uh… very painful  I felt so sorry for the guy.

Please pray for my younger brother; he is having surgery in about 15-30 min to get his appendix (sorry if I spelled that wrong) taken out. You might know him on the forums as Edna, but he has not been on the forums in awhile

Here’s to you, man. I’ve been there. I hope Edna 's surgery goes well. God only knows what he must be feeling right now. I can assure you that everyone on Pixar Planet wishes that the operation is a success, right guys?

Oh, and I have a recent issue that’s come up as well… my great-uncle has recently been in the hosiptal for a day. That’s all I know right now. The guy is 87 years old, drives me home from school almost every day, etc. Now, I hope that this is nothing at all serious. But it would help getting support from you guys right now because I really need it. Thanks.

I broke my arm the summer between 7th and 8th grade, so two summers back not counting this summer I’m gonna be in 11th grade. I broke it real bad. I fell off a bike going down a hill a block from my house. The bike landed on my arm. Snapped it. My arm was literally in the shape of a U. I had to walk home and my mom was in disgust and shock. We drove to the hospital and the next day I had to have surgery. I have two metal plates in my arm, making it so the bone can grow regularly. I also have two very ugly scars >.>

We I just got a call saying that he’s having surgery right now, so please keep praying.

JV - Will do.

And my great-uncle’s out of the hospital. He had arthreitis (I think I spelled that wrong) in his shoulder. Thank god it’s nothing serious.

JV, ah, i didn’t know your brother was Edna. I’ll be praying for him.

shudder I bet your mom must’ve felt horrible seeing you like that! (You, too… ) I’ve never nad to have surgery, nor have I broken any bones.

~Lucky~

I will.

Well I just got back from visiting him from the hospital, He was really tired, and so we did not stay there that long.

p.s Thanks for the praying guys. and keep em coming.

So it went well? Good! He’ll be better in no time!

I won’t stop praying until he is 100% better.

Thanks everybody!!!

Thanks y’all!!! This is one reason I love PixarPlanet!

Same here! The Support is tremendous here.

I wish we could all have a big get together in real life! That’d be COOOOOL!!!

Consider us a second family. If something happens to any of them, we all become so concerned because the sensitive side in us just hate it when something bad happens to anyone.

I’m glad your brother is ok, JV!

Yeah so do I. Some of us live in other countries though, so I don’t know how that would happen. I always wonder what everyone here is like in real life… But yeah, it’s good to dream.

Well, when I become a multi-billionaire, I’ll buy everyone some plane tickets to my place!..Scratch that, I’ll buy everyone a plane! (that’s when, not if. )
