I would have a REALLY tough time deciding between Randall Boggs and Wilt from “Foster’s Home For Imaginary Friends”. Now, I know that on the surface, no two characters could seem more different, but they have more in common than most people think. Both are very competitive and driven to win, both abhor cheating, both can totally come
“unglued” when under stress, to the point of reacting violently and unpredictably. And of course there are those ginormous grins! Both also have some major emotional issues, due to their pasts. We at least know what happened to Wilt, but can only speculate that Randall’s past was anything but rosy, too. At least Wilt does have some pleasant memories to fall back on.
I think that I would be the one to benefit most if I could bring Wilt to our world, while Randall would probably benefit more from ME, and from my experiences, since he probably hasn’t met many folks who can really relate to him and what HE has been through. In terms of temper, I can deal with Randall’s little outburst a lot better than Wilt’s tendency to “bottle in” anger and other negative emotions until he goes off like Mt. Saint Helens from being unable to hold it in any longer. Both of 'em seem to have a knack for mechanics and fixing things that get broken…except for
themselves, that is. Wilt’s a native of my own homestate, so he’s part of this culture already, while Randall might have a bit of difficulty getting used to the whole Carolina thang. I don’t know how Randall feels about spiders, though-especially really big hairy spiders, but I do know that Wilt doesn’t think twice of picking up a possible Black Widow with his fingers, so he would probably think living in a housefull of spiders and NOT having someone screaming because of them would be pretty neat. Wilt does seem to be a bit overprotective at times of others, though, and could probably be a bit overbearing when it comes to things like healthy diet and excersise, which I kinda need, but it does get a tad annoying sometimes to have someone like that giving you that “look” because you bring home a Hardee’s 2/3 pound cheeseburger meal! Randall, on the other hand, strikes me as being someone who would be really good at butting out of everyone else’s personal choices unless they directly affect him.
On a really down downside, BOTH of ‘em have a LOT of female groupies, uh, I
mean fangirls, so I would have my work cut out for me having to fight off other chicks, and to quote Wilt himself, "I’m gettin’ too old for that junk"!
Man, I still can’t decide between the two!

Tahaha. The neverending struggle between those two eh Pitbulllady? ![]()
Remy.
There were points in my life when I could have more easily answered this question
.
For example, when I was 12, in 1993, the answer would have been - hands down, no question - Bunnie Rabbot from the SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon.
At the moment, there are way too many choices! ![]()
Remy or Rufus (from Kim Possible) could be good: since they’re pocket-sized, you could take them with you, and if anyone saw them, you could just say that they’re really advanced toys someone sent you from Japan that haven’t been released in the U.S. yet
.
Baloo would be great for pure fun.
Then there’s Gusto Gummi from the Gummi Bears, (added later on in the series - Tummi and Gruffi found him marooned on an island.) He’s one of the few prominent artist characters I’ve seen in the world of cartoons, and we could totally relate to each other on being incredibly obsessive artists
.
There are also other factors - in the “What Disney character do you have a crush on?” thread, I mentioned that I had one on Nala from The Lion King (the grownup version from the later part of the movie). That would also make her a contender.
It would be a tough choice between them. However, if I’m allowed to do this, I would choose Ballad Quill the gryphon musician.
Who?
Well, you see, technically he’s not an animated character yet. He’s a character from one of my graphic novel concepts - the one who currently appears as my avatar. He’s a fun loving guy, very passionate about his love of music, and a very loyal friend to the other characters. Also, he can fly, and he’s big enough that several people could ride on his back. Who wouldn’t want a friend who could fly? ![]()
