Some people say my poems kill
But the People at Pixar posess real skill
Andrew Stanton: heās pretty cool
He made Wall*Eās spaceship ands Nemoās school
Pete Docter: Heās a beast
Monstropolis is awesome, and Paradise falls is a visual feast
Lee Unkrich: Heās great
He helped with Sulley, and might direct Toy Story 8(just kidding)
Brad Bird: heās the man
Remyās La Ratatouille, and Elastigirl strapped to a work van
John Lasseter: heās the boss
Big Bug City, andyās room, and the apartment of Al, the hoss
People like my rhymes
Why? They take no time
Pixar is devoted
3-5 years is a lot of time for a film
I donāt care if you hate them, your skills are worthless and slim
I love Pixar, their employees, and their flicks
You insult them just to get your kicks

I love your poems IV! I wrote a sonnet about animation in High School, Iām glad Iām not the only one who writes cartoon poems! Anyway, very nice stuff!
Finally.I wrote another poem worthy of putting here. I thought I was out of creative juice. So, hereās the story. I love Bob and Helen!!! I needed to write poems for/about them. Iām sort of what i call a realist. I hold no(or try not to hold) false perceptions about love. I tried to reflect real love in this poem, not cheesy, stupid romantic comedy love. BTW, you guys are the first to see this. My parents(mainly mom) get tired of my shipping, so you guys get it, because you guys get it. This first one is from Helenās perspective. I think this may be what Helen thought when Bob first drove away when she was suspicious.
Love
I need you when the sun goes down
I need you when youāre not around
I need you when Iām alone
Donāt you know your arms are my home?
Youāre not perfect; neither am I
Your words sometimes make me cry
I need you, I love you still
You ease my pain like no pill
Love is such a trite concept
People make it sound like life or death
I canāt say Iād die without you
But I will say I need you
Youāre the one who keeps me sane
You arenāt like sugar cane
You apply flattery at the right times
But you donāt lie, this I find
Only real love is so truthful
Lying for comfort is fowl, not beautiful
Hear me this before you go
You should know that I love you so
Not the kind of love that lies
That dyes the hair or covers the eyes
The kind of love that tells the truth
A love that doesnāt die without youth
Love that reaches beyond the body
The kind of love that isnāt gaudy
This love wonāt die with age
The feelings wonāt cease to rage
I need you, surely I do
I only ask if you need me too
I wonāt say that Iām the best
But Iām different from the rest
I only say that I love you so
A love for you that no other could ever know
A love I offer only to you
Could your heart be so true?
Weāre superheroes; what could happen?

My love for you will see no curtain
This one is from Bobās perspective, for before he proposed to her. I think this is a wordy version of what he would think. I also tried to incorporate him acknowledging that she is a Feminist and may be harder to woo and marry.
A ring
I admit itās true; I think youāre cute
But I also find you quite astute
I propose a deal, you see
That you should marry me
When I look at you, I see love in your face
But I know love is no race
Iāll wait until the day comes
When you give up your pride
And realize you do want sons
Youād look so good in white
To the other girls a jealous sight
Iād say donāt make me beg
But for you, Iād even give a leg
Iād beg for you
And so I do
Marry me
Weāll exist together happily
Not easily, but worth the fight
To have Elastigirl for a wife
But I love Helen all the more
And how she makes my heart soar
Iāll beg one more time
marry me, and end this rhyme
And each time I go to bed at night
Iāll thank God for you

I liked both of your poems, but the lines I quoted above are my favorite and made me say āWow!ā and āAww!ā Those lines really stood out to me.
I dislike poems because in High School I was forced to write them, and Iām down right terrible. But I sometimes come across poems that speak to me and I actually like (which is rare) and your āLoveā poem is one of them! Thanks for posting, Iāll have to remember for next years PP Awards.
An author or, preferably, a writer of screenplays for movies! I would hate to be a teacher. I adore little kids, butā¦not teenagers. And by āfrom youā, I just mean that your opinion means a lot.

I personally write a lot, because itās the job I want. You canāt get a job if you stink.
