Interactive Story Application Thread

no you guys write the story…but not write as in write…your actions make me write the story…the decisions you guys will make wil decide the story.

I knew that…

deep voice-over voice In a world where we write the story but don’t actually write it but our actions do but Al-Bob is actually writing it; the decisions we make will decide the fate of the story! end of deep voice-over voice

LOL

well thats good…

Actually, if we are playing Pixar characters, can I be Remy? I know I’d be playing a guy but he’s a lot like me.

sure…i’ll put your character on.

[Update]

I’ve been talkin with TSS and our game is going to be pushed off until we figure out the Traitor game. What this means is that this game will not start until some result starts or finishes the traitor game. This game will then start after The Traitor game finishes…thanks.

If we get another update i’ll be sure to let you all know.

Yeah, but it’s goner take a while for TG to be finished, though, and I’ve already got a Christmas TG special planned up… You think it’s okay if I still put up that one then?

ohh…i don’t want to interfear with your game go ahead with it. It will have great potential if started. JUST START IT!!!

My game can wait and allow me to prepare storylines more detailed.

I think this one can wait…2 months…maybe. I’m going on vacation the 21-28 so that will be off time. That would be the perfect time to start your game or even before then. If your games takes 1-2 people killed per/weekn that could be 4-5 weeks. About 1.5 months…ending with the december issue and possible going into the january-febuary-march months.

(my game requires very little input unlike yours so my game would be easy to start and stop.)

Well, actually I was planning for a 1 kill per night - three nights sort of thing, meaning one round per day - three days. Thus, the rate at which TG finishes depends on the rate of postage since the killings are pretty fast.

And you don’t necessary have to postpone, two games are better than one. It’s not like the gamers really have to put in hard work for the games. Sure, for this one, they have to put their thinking caps on and for the other one… pretty much the same thing while being creative (which, is optional), but as Nexas and the other guys always said, “Why so serious?” Just… play.

Unfortunitly i can see how two games could create problems…the only way i could start is if i could tell TSS how easy to play this one is.

I have changed the outline a bit…please read the redone version of the outline.
Any information that was given out in the original post has been redone to fit a new storyline and can be discarded for now.

1-This RPGS (role playing game-story) is interactive meaning that people can somewhat control their people (characters) as they encoutner a storyline and other characters. Most players will do different things resulting in a unique and challenging story…

2-Your choices will effect your outcome somtimes creating adventure, mishaps, and great rewards…

3-Everyplayer may talk to fellow players who are in the same area as they are. Players who are “away” may not be contacted. PM’ing other players is unacceptable becuase clues could be discussed. If you would like to PM users first PM me the letter just so that i can make sure no details that could result in chages are in the letter. Every group may not look at the other groups thread. I am planning to do 2 threads one for Forest and the other for Desert. These two groups may not discuss their findings until they come upon a city they meet at.

4- More info will be given out when i restart this thread under a edited name…then the game will start with introductions and game guidelines.

5-You find clues by searching and looking for special (safes) which contain clues inside of housing or buildings. These cases are unlocked by answering questions so make sure you have your thinking caps on when you answer the questions. Also no cheating when you answer the q’s please.

6-Since wboon has his Traitor Game almost set up this interactive story game will be pushed off for some time. I will repost telling you all when we get a green light.

Thanks

I might greenlight Ran for this, but see what he’ll say since I’m on the traitor story at the moment as well.

i’m sorry i didn’t catch that…you want to join?? You have someone who wants to join? I’m just not understanding sorry.

Well I would play Ran of course :unamused: Though glad that the “release date” has been pushed back since working between two stories is a bit difficult.

Who is ran? i guess my pixarphobia has…uhh whats the word…shoot english!!!

i don’t know how to spell cote, cot, cought, caught…thats it!!

My Pixarphobia has Caught up to me…

O…K :-\ Guess everybody just knows him by Randall

ohhh…Sorry…so you want to join but not start until we really begin??

Pretty much
Though I’m still unclear to the exact plot of this interactive story…

the plot is undisclosable but will be when we start…but the idea is simple…

1-I want people to be able to control their characters even if that control is limited. You all will create the storyline and your control will effect the outcome of the story. You help create the story…

Okay…

here are the participants as we stand today November the 7th…

TSS-Helen
Wboon-Violet
Rac_Rules-Remy
NetBug009-M-O
Scyther-Flik
Remy-Eve
Nexas (optional)-of cource Randall

This makes 7…oh the special number. If anyone would still care to join i’m open to them…

Also thank you for your patience with our delayed start…it feels like a delayed airplane takeoff.

starts ushering people through the plane
